Chapter 15

"Hey Sophie, wake up! We're going to be late!" I opened my eyes and checked the time. 

Holy crap! Today is Tuesday and it's already 9 AM! We have classes at 10 AM. I got up my bed and went to get a shower. Vince did the same. After the shower I put some clothes on and went to the car. I'll eat breakfast at school. Vince is already waiting for me at the car. He drove the car as fast as he can. Good thing we didn't got caught because of over speeding. 

We were 15 minutes late. Good thing the professor didn't mark me absent. 

"Etong birthday girl nato, late na pumasok" Karylle said. Oh right! Today's my birthday! 

"We went home late last night" I said. 

"Happy Birthday Sophie" Rachel said. 

"Thanks" 

"Happy Birthday din Sophie" Karylle said. 

"Thanks Karylle"

It's already 3:30 PM. Vince said to wait for him at the lobby. Karylle, Rachel and I just stood there waiting for Vince and Ethan. 

"Sophie?" I turn around to see who called my name. 

"Albert" he smiled. 

"Hi, ano ginagawa mo ditto?" he asked. 

"Ah, just waiting for Vince, ikaw?" 

"Uuwi na sana ako eh. Hi Rachel, Hi Karylle" he said. 

"Hi Albert!" the girls waved at Albert. 

"Sophie! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Ethan shouted. Great! Now Albert knew that today is my birthday. 

"Birthday mo?" Albert asked. I nodded. "Happy Birthday!" he said. 

"Thanks" Vince and Ethan are now standing next to their girlfriends. "Thanks Ethan for the shout greetings" I said. 

"You're welcome dear" he said. 

"Hey Sophie, Happy Birthday, sorry I haven't greeted you earlier" Vince said. 

"Nah, it's fine. Thanks though" he smiled. 

"Hey c'mon, we're going to a special place" he looked at Albert. "Uh, hey Albert you wanna join us?" Vince asked. 

"Ah, ok lang ba?" Albert asked. 

"Of course! Sama na!" Karylle said. 

"Oo nga pare, sama ka na samin" Ethan added. Albert smiled then looked at me. 

"I don't know, mukhang ayaw ng birthda---------" 

"Oh hush Albert. Sumama ka na" I said then blushed. Damn it! I blush a lot! 

"Ok, sasama ako" he said. 

"OK then, may dala kang kotse?" Vince asked and Albert nodded. "Sundan mo nalang kami" Albert nodded again. We all went to the parking lot. 

"Wait! Uh, Sophie pwede kay Albert ka na sumakay?" Rachel said. 

"Oo nga Sophie, dun ka nalang" Karylle added. You got to be kidding me! 

"But!-----------" 

"Sige ka, ma-OP ka lang dito. Puro kami couple ikaw lang walang partner" Karylle said. She has a point. I rolled my eyes and turned my back against them before shouting "FINE!" 

Albert smiled at me. "Tama naman siya eh, baka ma-OP ka lang" I sigh. 

"Nakakaasar!" 

"Ok lang yan. Wag na mabadtrip ang birthday girl hmmm" he put arms around my shoulders. I smiled.
