Oh-So-Awesome Nerdy

Chapter 7

It's almost three months since school started. Vince and Rachel seem to get along. Sometimes I can't help but doubt that they have these feelings for each other. Well, I'm happy for both of them. Sapphire, Jason and daddy D always calls me to check up on me. Also Scarlet, geez I miss them. We always spend our free time at the Gym. You know, to see the hot basketball players especially Crisostomo. Rachel told me that his real name is Albert. Stalker much XD

We have this tour in Subic. It's for our project in Science. Vince and I are so excited. It'll be our first time to go to Subic. Rachel, Karylle and Ethan said that Subic is such an awesome place.

We are now in the bus. The seats are only for two persons. It's also arranged alphabetically. So, Karylle Fernandez and Ethan Flores sat at each other also Vince Drake and Rachel Dela Cruz. Wow, forever alone, great! Ugh.  

"Ma'am, dito po ako sasakay?" There's a familiar voice at the door. 

"Oo hijo, pasok ka. Katabi mo si Ms. Cruz" Our professor said, pointing at the vacant seat besides me. Then... There he was. Albert Crisostomo. Everyone in the bus stopped for a moment to see that the basketball star player of our school is on our bus. 

"Hi, ikaw si Miss Cruz?" I nodded. "May nakaupo?" I shook my head. He smiled and sat next to me. I'm so lucky, both our last name starts with letter C. that's why he's sitting next to me. Oh my gosh! Rachel is giggling. She's been broadcasting it to our classmates that I like Albert. That's why all my classmates started to tease me. Awkward. I just relax so that it's not obvious much that I like this handsome man beside me, god! He smells good. I have this urge to wrap myself around his muscled arms. He's wearing a V-neck shirt color black and jeans plus, Vans shoes! Just simple attire but it can make all the ladies fall for him. 

"Anong year ka na?" he asked. 

"Uhm... 1st year,ikaw?" 

"2nd year, ano course mo?" 

"I'm taking up Business Management, ikaw?" 

"Marketing" I looked at him. 

"Really?" he nodded and smiled 

"Nasa iisang department lang pala tayo" I smiled showing my fake braces. 

"Ikaw ba yung muntik ko matamaan ng bola?" I nodded. 

"Wow, that was like three months ago, naaalala mo parin?" he chuckled. Oh gosh! 

"Oo nga eh, naalala ko lang bigla. Galing mo kasi sumalo ng bola eh" I smirk. 

"Siyempre, ako pa!" He smiled and at the same time the tourist guide spoke. I didn't notice that the car is already moving. 

"Good morning guys! First, gusto ko na tingnan niyo ang katabi niyo at batiin siya ng isang Magandang Umaga!" I faced Albert and he's already looking at me with a smile on his face. Oh god! 

"Magandang Umaga.. uhh, ano pangalan mo?" I chuckled. 

"It's Sophia, good morning to you too" he flashed me that sweet smile of his. He stretched out his hands. 

"I'm Albert" I nodded and shook his hand. 

"Alright! Pwede ko bang malaman kung yung katabi niyo eh yung boyfriend or girlfriend niyo? C'mon, wag na kayong mahiya" No one reacted. All of the couples played dumb. "Aba, ayaw umamin ng mga to. Bahala kayo, oh sige. Sino naman sa inyo ang katabi ay si Crush?" the tourist guide asked again. 

"SI SOPHIA!" one of my classmates shouted. WHAT THE HELL!! 

"OO NGA! SI SOPHIA! AYAN OH, KATABI NIYA SI ALBERT CRISOSTOMO! AYIEEE!" Rachel added. Damn it! I took a quick glance at Albert and looked away. He's looking at me with a smile on his face. It was his genuine smile.
