Chapter 14

It's almost a week since classes went back. Rocky, Genevieve and Gian went back to Cebu after New Year, same with the others. They went back to LA the same day. And I miss them already! 

"Grabe Sophie! Di parin ako maka-get over! Sinabihan ako ni Scarlet ng cute! Shit lang!" Karylle glared at her boyfriend. 

"Ang sweet ng parents' mo" Rachel said to Vince. He smiled. 

"Of course. They're already asking me when the wedding is" Vince said. Rachel's eyes went wide. I laughed. 

"Mas maganda ka parin Sophie" Karylle said. I smiled. 

"Uh.... Thanks?" I said. 

"Albert alert" Rachel said. I turn around and saw a smiling Albert. He's making his way towards us. I smiled. There are those butterflies again. 

"Hi Sophie, kamusta?" he said. 

"Uh, Hi Albert, I'm ok, ikaw?" 

"I'm good, uh my klase ka ba ngayon? Yayayain sana kita mag breakfast. Kung ok lang sayo" he said. Wait, did I hear him right? 

"Mamaya pa pasok namin mga 10 AM. SIge, pwede pa kayo mag breakfast" Karylle said. She pushed me gently towards Albert. I glared at her. "You're going to thank me for this" she mouthed. I rolled my eyes and turn to face Albert. He's smiling! Gash! I missed that smile. 

"Ok lang ba sayo?" he asked. I nodded. He grabbed my wrist and dragged me towards his car. 

"Where are we going?" I asked. 

"Starbucks" he replied.

It was just a 20 minute drive. We went inside Starbucks and sat on the comfy chairs. He got our order and sat at the chair across mine. 

"So, kamusta naman bakasyon mo?" he asked. I smiled. 

"It was fun, how about yours?" 

"It was great!" he relied. I nodded. 

"Bakit nga pala ako yung niyaya mong mag breakfast with you?" I asked. 

"Namimiss kasi kita eh" he said then his eyes got wide. Maybe he was shock with his own response. I smiled. I can feel the heat rising to my cheeks. I immediately looked down to cover my blush. We just talked and shared some random things.

Albert and I are really getting closer. And it scares me. What if I fell for him, and he won't catch me? That would hurt, right? What if, my love for him wouldn't be returned? You know, like one-sided love? That would hurt. Ugh! But whenever I'm with him, I'm always happy. I'm feeling safe whenever he's around. And he can cook yummy pancake! He's also cute, caring, kind, funny and a gentleman. He's close to perfect. He's the guy that most authors describe on their stories here on Wattpad. 

"Sophie? Ok ka lang?" he asked. 

"Yeah, tara. Balik na tayo sa school" I said and he nodded. We drove back to school and he walked me to my class. 

"Thanks sa pagsama sakin mag breakfast ha" he said. I smiled. 

"Sure, No problem. Thanks din" he smiled. 

"I have to go now, bye Sophie. See you" I smiled. 

"Bye Albert" I waved goodbye and went inside our room. Ethan, Karylle, Rachel and Vince were waiting for me. The two girls were giving me those cheeky grins again. I smiled and sat next to them. 

"I had a great time" I started and the two girls intently started to listen. I smiled again and told them what happened.

Vince and I are on our way home, when suddenly I saw a tarpaulin. Vince's favorite local band is having a concert. I checked the date and it is exactly the same date of his birthday. February 6. I smiled.
