Oh-So-Awesome Nerdy

Chapter 11

The class was so boring I almost fell asleep. Good thing the bell rang. 

"Sophie, samahan mo muna kami sa faculty. May kukunin lang kami" Karylle said and I nodded.

"Kayo na lang pumasok, I'll wait for you here outside. Bilisan niyo ha, may next class pa tayo" Rachel and Karylle nodded and went inside the faculty room. Ethan and Vince still have classes.  

I was just looking at the bulletin boards when someone spoke. 

"Hoy nerd! di pa ako tapos sayo!" Marta said. I looked at the side and my eyes caught sight of Albert. He's making his way at my direction with a smile on his face. I can't help but smile back, when suddenly Martha pushed me hard. My back hit the bulletin boards. Because of the strong impact, the glass of the bulletin board broke. I fell to the ground together with the broken glass of the bulletin board. This girl is really making me furious. This is too much! 

"Sophie! OK ka lang ba?" Albert is now at my side. 

"ANONG NANGYARI DITO?!" the Dean suddenly appeared. 

"Ma'am, siya po. Tinulak niya si nerd kaya nabasag yung salamin. Ang lakas po ng pagkakatulak niya" a student said. 

"Ma'am! I can explain po! Di kop o kasalanan" Martha pleaded. 

"In my office. NOW!" the Dean said to Martha. "Ok ka lang ba hija? Punta ka ng clinic" she told me. I shook my head and smiled. 

"No ma'am, I'm fine. May exam pa po kami eh. Ok lang po ako" 

"Sure ka?" I nodded and the Dean went to her office with Martha. Albert helped me get up. 

"Thanks Albert" I smiled. 

"Ok ka lang ba?" I nodded and turned my heels to my next class. I'll see Rachel and Karylle there, I'm kinda dizzy. I felt something liquid and warn that's dripping on my back. 

"Shit Sophie! Yung likod mo!" Albert came running to me. "Dumudugo yung likod mo!" I touched my back and I saw blood. Shit! My white shirt is now red because of the blood. 

"Albert, kelangan ko kumuha ng exam" I said with my watery eyes. I'm in pain. Ugh! 

"Ako mage-excuse sayo" he said. 

"No Albert. I'm fine" I came in to my next class and the professor was already there. I sat at my chair and my classmates didn't seem to see my back. Albert was talking to my professor. 

"Sorry Mr. Crisostomo, di pwede. Please go out at mage-exam pa kami" the professor said and Albert was angry. He stormed out the room. He's standing at the door, peeking every second.

"Sophie! Narining namin yung nangyari sa inyo ni Martha. Ok ka lang ba?" Karylle asked once she and Rachel got back to our room. 

"Lagot saamin yang Martha na yun" said Rachel. I shook my head. 

"No, hayaan niyo na siya. Ok lang ako, but my back won't stop bleeding" 

"Shit! Sophie tara na sa clinic!" Karylle said. 

"No, OK lang ako. May exam oh, kelangan natin kumuha" They both let out a sigh. 

"Ano ginagawa ni Albert sa labas?" Rachel asked. 

"He's been asking Mrs. Reyes to excuse me because of my bleeding back. But the woman won't let me" I answered. The two grinned. 

"Ui, concern sa kanya si Albert" Karylle teased. 

"Shut up. You're making me dizzy" I spat. 

"Girls! Tahimik na at mage-exam na tayo" Mrs. Reyes said.
