"P-Peeta?" I stutter. He smiles genuinely. "Hey, Katniss. I'm one of your two security guards," he says, putting me down gently. "Who's the other?"

"I'll tell you in the car," he says, wrapping his arm around me and leading me through the crowd of people. Through all the chaos, Peeta pulls me closer to him. His arm is tightly around my waist. I feel my heart beat rapidly out of my chest as we approach the car. The other security guard turns around. "Catnip!"

"Gale!" He wraps his arms around me tightly in a hug, pulling me away from Peeta. He lets go of me. "You look great, Catnip."

"You don't look so bad yourself," I reply. "I try," he laughs. I giggle and glance back at Peeta. He has a jealous look on his face, so I stop. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah," I answer, getting into the car. I squeeze between Peeta and Gale, which is awkward while Effie sits in the front with some man that's driving. "Who's the driver?" I ask. "Haymitch, he's your lead security guard. Also my uncle on my mom's side," Peeta says. I nod my head in response. "So, how you feel being back home, Sweetheart?" He asks me. "My name isn't Sweetheart, it's Katniss," I scowl. Peeta chuckles. "Same old Katniss, I see." I want to say, "No, I'm not the same, especially in my feelings for you." but that would be too blunt to say aloud. "Well, how you feel?"

"Great, I think I can actually breathe now," I sigh. Gale laughs. "I bet, you had to do some serious training for your roles."

"I had to learn archery for one, that was some intense workouts," I comment. "You looked beautiful when you were her," I hear Peeta mutter unintentionally. "Why? The only thing they changed for me was that I wasn't wearing a lot of make-up."

"Exactly," he says. So he still likes me. Okay...I see. I give him a smile, but Gale clears his throat. "Anyway, are we almost there, Haymitch?"

"Yep, just let me turn right here-"

"We could've been there earlier if you just followed my directions," Effie says. "I don't need some GPS to tell me how to get somewhere I've been to before-"

"You're right, you don't, but I prefer the quickest and easiest way-"

"I'm not you, Wig Head-"

"I beg you're pardon," she scoffs. "You heard me, everybody can tell that's fake," he says, reaching over to grab it. She smacks his hand down. "Manners," she snaps. "I'm just helping you," he defends, grabbing her wig and straightening it for her. I see the blush come across her powdered cheeks.
We arrive at the hotel. Gale and Peeta get out with me between them. Haymitch and Effie walk behind us. I take my shades off. "Everdeen," I tell the receptionist. She gawks a little before handing me a room key. "Enjoy your stay, Miss Everdeen."

"Thank you." We walk to the elevator and press the up button. I need to think of a way so Peeta and I can be alone for a bit. "Gale, can you and Haymitch go get my luggage?"

"Sure," he says unsurely. "Go make sure they don't break something, Effie," I command. She looks at me. "Okay, I see," she smirks. She winks at me and I restrain myself from flipping her off. The elevator door opens and Peeta and I step inside. It closes on us. "So...you're still into me?" I ask bluntly. He chuckles. "Why so blunt now?"

"I just want to know."

"Well, I kind of figured that you had someone considering that you had men bowing down to you left and right."

"Please," I snort. "So you don't have a partner?"

"No, not at the moment," I answer. He moves a little closer to me. "Well, I don't have a partner at the moment either," he says quietly. I smile and see something in his eyes that I've never noticed. Love. Maybe his phase hasn't went out, maybe it only got stronger. I find his arms around my waist. "So, about that date-" the bell dings signaling that the elevator is opening. We pull away from each other quickly before two teenage girls look at me. "OHMYGOD! IT'S KATNISS EVERDEEN!" One screams. They both start squealing and run inside. Peeta blocks me away from them. "Oh my god, can I have your autograph?!" I step from behind Peeta and pull a pen out of my purse. All of my pens have the initials "K.J.E." engraved in on them. "You have a paper or something?" One pulls her phone case off of her phone and hands me a sharpie out of her pocket. Her phone case is a picture of me. I begin to scribble quickly. "Lots of love, Katniss E." she squeals loudly while the other one starts giving me folded up posters, her phone case, her bracelet, her shoe, and her book. "I know it's a lot, but as a fangirl you never know."
