I was in a grey crop top and black jeans with black hightops. Ness had also given me a black leather jacket but I ignored it and left it in the bathroom. Let's face it we were in California and the dead winters were fifty degrees. Her clothes fit me really well if you ask me. All I had to do was fold the jeans once and I was ready to go.
I went out in the room and saw Ash sitting there fully dressed, looking more like a Greek God than anyone had right to, smirking.
"Ready to go to school sunshine?" he asked.
"As ready as anyone can be," I grumbled.
This time Ash didn't seem bothered to tiptoe me out of the house.
"What the hell was up with you last night?" I asked him as we descended the stairs.
"What are you talking about kitty?"
"You seemed pretty adamant on hiding me last night, don't you think your parents will have an equal problem if they see a girl leaving in the morning."
He scoffed.
"My parents won't have any problem if I move in a girl into my room as long as I stay out of their way."
"oh," I didn't know how to answer that.
"So why did you hide me last night?" I asked casually at the last step.
I heard him mumble something along the lines of 'I don't know Rosa.' and when he kept moving ahead I guessed that was the only answer I was going to get.
We got out of the front door and there in the patch of sunlight stood someone with his back to us.
When we were near him he turned around...
"Rose this is Ryder Cullen, Ryder, meet the infamous Rose wilder."
"Hey Rose, I have heard a lot about you," he said extending his hand.
"Wow," I blurted out. Hey, don't blame me this guy was an official bad boy from head to toe.
Stylishly messed up dark ginger hair, green eyes, a smirk on.
Black jeans, white t-shirt, a black leather jacket. COME ON.He threw his head back and laughed out loud, while Ash for some reason glared at him.
"You are gorgeous just for the record," I said with my smirk on.
"Don't give a push to his already huge ego Rose," Ash said irritated.
"Do you want me to give the ride to just the pretty girl Ash?" he mocked Ash.
"Well the pretty girl can go in my car as well and you can drive to school alone," Ash said back.
"Huh the pretty girl is standing right here and she can drive her own car," I said holding up the keys.
Ash had gone back to Diya's house yesterday to explain to them what had happened, and bought back my keys and my phone with him.
Both of them looked at me and shrugged.
***
I can't believe this is happening.
"How am I not driving my own car?" I asked Ash and Ryder from the back seat.
"And how do you know the way to my home Ryder?"
Both of them shrugged again and I crossed my arms and sat back and pouted.
Ryder pulled in front of my house and I got out and stood in front of the driver's window my hands still folded.
Ryder got the window down.
"You want me to carry you in your house," Ash said leaning a bit towards me.
"No actually dumbasses my mom has already left for work her car is not in the driveway, I need my keys," I said.
Ryder pulled the keys out of the ignition and handed them to me.
I ran up to the door and went in, hurried up to my room and got my bag from the bed and before I could hurry back down I got jeans, a blue top and now my only pair of sneakers and stuffed all of it in my already full bag.
I could change in school and return Ness's clothes to her when I drop Ash home today.
I hurried and went down to the kitchen and internally thanked my mom for making extra coffee, I poured it in a Styrofoam coffee cup, it was still warm indicating my mom had probably just left. And then I went out.
Both of the boys were leaning against the car doors and looking as if I had made them wait an eternity.
"Ohh let's eat the whole breakfast shall we," Ash said sarcastically I gave him an eye and flipped him the finger, threw my keys at Ryder and got in the back seat.
They got in and then Ryder turned to Ash.
"Oh no!" Ash said looking at Ryder
Did I miss something, Ryder looked at Ash and said, "you can't stop me, pretty boy."
"Um, what are you guys talking about?" I asked confused.
"Rose give him your coffee," Ash ordered me.
"What the fuck, hell no! This baby is mine." I said taking another sip.
"Is there more in the house?" Ash asked I shook my head, utterly confused.
"Just give him the damn coffee or he will stop at Starbucks," Ash said giving Ryder an eye who was eyeing the coffee in my hand wistfully.
I shrugged. "Not my problem dude."
"We are already late," Ash growled.
Ryder shrugged. "Not my problem dude"
***
We were at Starbucks. Ash was irritated, we were waiting in the driveway for our orders.
When our turn came, the dude on the window took his head out and said. "Sir can you please go to the front door something just happened to the computer I can't bill you."
"You have got to be fucking kidding me."
"Sorry for the inconvenience." With that, he shut the window on our faces.
The situation would have been comical if Ash didn't look like he was about the murder someone.
All three of us went up to the counter and asked for our order.
"Rosie?" I heard a very familiar voice say my name and I slowly turned on my heels.
Hi peeps, we have a new character in Ryder Cullen. What do you think of him?
And who is this mystery person?
Find out in the next chapter of 'A rose in the wild'LOL, that sounded like the closing of a TV show.
