25- A girl's word(Ash's POV)

"I want nothing to do with you Ash." with that she stomped her phone and broke the sim in half. She did the same to Sofia's phone and left me there all alone. All alone.

I sat down on the ground, not knowing where to go, actually not caring enough. I dint know why but her words were like knives to my heart. She didn't want anything to do with me so I shouldn't care as well.

I don't know how long I sat there after that. The elementary school bell rang the final bell and I knew that school was over. But I was still sitting here. I didn't want to move I was comfortable here. The heat was not too hot at this place and it felt good to just watch the lake.

My phone rang three times and I ignored it each time.
On the fourth ring I picked it up without checking the caller ID.

"There's my baby brother. Where are you? I am bored." I sighed.

"Go away Ness." With that I hung up the phone.

I got up and went to the parking lot only to remember that I hitched a ride with Rose this morning. Did she even drop Ryder back?

I took my phone out and called him. He picked up on the first ring.

"Dude you should have at least told me before running off in sunset with Rose. I came with her too, you dumbass. How could you both leave me alone? And when I tried calling you, you didn't eve..."

I hung up the phone at that. Sighed

I called Ness back. She picked up on the first ring.

"On the second thought, pick me up from school." I said and hung up.

I sat near the parking area gate, waiting when a pink Mercedes convertible rolled in, hood down and Ness wearing super big sunglasses and a pink scarf.

"Woah who twisted your panties?" she questioned seeing my expression.

When I didn't answer and just sat in the passenger seat glaring at the purple teddy that hung from the rear-view mirror.

She took note of my expression again and guessed.

"Okay the shooting range it is." in a high pitched voice. Oh she new me so well.

All the way to the range she was silent, assessing my mood and behavior.

She pulled up and locked up the car after I got out.

"What did Rose do?" she suddenly asked.

"Nothing!" I answered way too fast for her to believe me. She smirked her 'knowing smirk'

"Sure she didn't." she mocked me.

We were at the shooting range.

After what felt like hours of shooting cardboards on head did I feel fine.

And just for the aesthetics of it Ness kept shooting her cardboard man in the balls.

When my arms felt raw from holding up the gun straight for so long, I set it down and removed my earmuffs.

Seeing this Ness took hers off as well and looked me in the eye.

"Rose is not one of the average girls Ash, don't give up on her." she said in a serious voice.

"She doesn't want anything to do with me." I mumbled taking a sip of my coke.

Ness laughed out a harsh laugh.

"And you believed her. I think I have told this to you before 'Never take a girl's words in simple meaning, they are always fucking twisted.'"

"I have seen her looking at you, that is definitely not what she wanna do." Ness stated out clearly.

"I am not interested in her in that way." I said way to loudly than necessary.

"Sure you don't." She said back with heavy sarcasm.

I sighed. Did i like Rose? and even if I did, she didn't want anything to do with me and her words had been hard she doesn't even trust me.

But I still felt the need to keep her safe.

I took my phone out and moved out of the glass door and called Ryder.

He picked up.

"I want someone near Rose all the time and keeping her safe, and make sure she doesn't ever find out. And whoever does it will report it back to me not to uncle." and with that I hung up and I think Ryder knew it was an order.

I went back in and tapped on my sister's shoulder. She took the earmuffs off which she had replaced on her head.

"Let's go, we have a long ride to LA." her eyes widened at my statement.

We had completed the almost four hours drive in two hours just because of my amazing driving skills.

We had exchanged cars at home, we were now driving my R8v10 plus audi. I loved this car.

Anyways me and Ness were near the place we both dreaded most in the world.

We entered the gates of a mighty bungalow and the gaurds saw us and waved us in without a second thought.

I went in and called out for my aunt. I loved her. She came wide eyed at the sound of my voice and hugged me and than hugged Ness.

Following her came the voice of my uncle. The gangster.

What the fuck is Ash up to? I am really dreading writing the next chapter. Has Rose's words given him some unrequired push?

And it's my birthday so I am gonna post another chapter right after this one, DON'T FORGET TO READ THAT OR THIS ONE.
