Tris's POV . I found out that Tobias didn't even use the memory serum because he wanted Evelyn to change because she loves him and not because of memory serum. I am happy for his decision. We are now in our room, talking. He is still upset about me giving myself up without him there. "Come on, Tobias, I am very sorry about what I did, I really am. But you can't carry this on forever", I try reasoning with him.
I wait for him to respond and he says,"I guess you're right. I will not be able to hang this over your head for the rest of our lives. Besides, your mom said that I'm your true love. I love you, Tris."
Tobias's POV
My heart is beating extremely fast. Getting Evelyn on my side was not the only thing I did in the city. Once I did that, we went to the jewelry store and got a 24 carat diamond ring for Tris. I am going to ask her to marry me. I think this the perfect time to propose. I get down on one knee. She says, "Tobias-"
I pull out the ring and say,"Beatrice Prior, my true love, make me the husband of the most caring and loving and bravest woman in the world." I wait for her answer.
Finally she replies,"Oh, gosh, Tobias. This is so unexpected! Yes, yes I will marry you! I love you so much!" She kisses me. I'm getting married. I am getting married! "I can't wait to tell Christina!" she continues. She is so happy. I know I made I made the right choice.
