Happily Ever After

chapter 12

(six months later)

Shauna's POV

    Tris just had a contraction and Zeke and I saw the sonograms since she and Tobias want the baby to be a total surprise on whether they are having a boy or a girl.  We cannot believe it.  They're having triplets!  Zeke and I have decided not to tell them about anything.  They want it to be a surprise?  Oh, it'll be a surprise!

    Anyway, Tris and Tobias are hosting a Candor or Dauntless party at their MANSION!  They got it for free since they are both Dauntless prodigies.  They figured that they would have a lot of children so the mansion is four stories and has ten rooms and ten and a half bathrooms.  The couple's bedroom is the whole fourth story with a terrace.  Their children's rooms will be in the story below the main level, which will be the kitchen, dining room, the kid room as they call it, and entertainment.  And the guest rooms will all be in the downstairs floor.  It's a good thing they got that house, because they don't know what's coming.

Tris's POV

    Everyone has arrived at our house and I am so happy to see them.  The honeymoon took many months because we didn't expect the baby to come.  Most newly weds head on to their honeymoon right away but we had to plan it.  Tobias took me to the city and we relived memories from the time we first met, to when Tobias broke Caleb's nose while leaving the city.  "Tobias, Peter isn't coming is he?" I ask.

    "Of course not.  Plus, last I heard he was on his deathbed dying from Ebola." He chuckles.  "I guess his Obama Care didn't work out, huh?"

    "I guess not!" I address everyone,"O.K., let's get started.  Caleb goes first."  He asks Zeke and he chooses Candor.

    "What's your full name?"  He asks curiously.  Ever since he joined Erudite everything he's said has been full of curiosity.  Zeke takes off his shirt an asks me.  Of course I choose Dauntless and he says that the dare is private.

    We walk into a different room and he says,"I dare you to have a 'contraction'.  It will totally freak Four out."

    I decline, take off my sweater, and then say,"You should call him by his real name.  That stuff is really behind him now."  He agrees and we leave the room.  "Okay Tobias.  The dare is-", I let out a screech and say,"The baby's coming!"  Tobias picks me up wedding style and Zeke says something about me not accepting the dare and then my eyes are shut as I am carried to the hospital that is three blocks away.
