Tris's POV
Some people have decided to stay in the city. Others, like Tobias and me, are staying outside the fence. There are just too many memories there. Here, we can start out fresh. The fence is going to be destroyed so everyone inside the city does not feel locked in. Anyway, Tobias and I found an apartment to live in. It is pretty small, but perfect for spending time with each other. We are sitting on the couch now, planning our wedding. "Tobias?" I ask. "Do you want to reveal your real name at the wedding?"
He starts fidgeting. That's what he does when he thinks about whether he wants to reveal a secret. "I don't know, Tris. What do you think?" I tell him that it really wouldn't really matter now that the factions are gone and that it's not good to keep secrets locked up inside forever. "Fine," he replies,"but some people already know. Remember, I was under truth serum at Candor headquarters."
"Well, I think it's brave that you are going to tell your friends who you really are willingly. Not because you're under truth serum." I assure him. He seems to forget his uneasiness and rests his head on my lap. I stroke his Abnegation-cut hair and review the wedding plans with him. Caleb is walking me down the aisle, Lauren, Shauna's sister, is the flower girl, Uriah is the ring bearer, Zeke is the best man, Shauna and Christina are the maids of honor, and Evelyn is the wedding priest. Evelyn did a bunch of Abnegation weddings when she was Marcus's wife so she knows how to run weddings.
Just then, there is a knock on the door. Tobias gets up to see who it is. He looks through the peephole and then runs out of the room. I go check to see what it is that he could run away from. I am amazed at who is standing at our door. Marcus. Tobias's abusive father. No wonder Tobias looked scared out of his wits. I run away from the door and go find Tobias.
