Part 15

Seo Yoon sat down with Gyeom Wu, eating heartily while the rest of the people sitting around her stared at her.

She then noticed that none of them were eating and were instead gawking at her.

An auntie beside her then took the napkin beside Seo Yoon on the table and laid it on her lap, causing Seo Yoon to tilt her head in confusion.

"Put the napkin on dear." She whispered to her.

Seo Yoon then realised that she had completely forgot its existence and immediately set the napkin on her lap before turning to look at everyone else on the table with an awkward smile.

A certain well dressed man, maybe around his forties, stroked his chin in amusement as he studied her.

"I see....you brought yourself a lady for the first time. She's not that bad." He said as he nodded his head, seemingly lost in his thoughts.

"Father, she is a frie-

Gyeom Wu was interrupted by Seo Yoon's loud ringtone blasting in the room.

NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP-

Seo Yoon picked up the phone, startled and embarrassed.

"Hello?" She said softly.

"SEO YOON YOU NEED TO SAVE ME AND MYUN BIN! WE WERE DRAGGED TO THE POLICE STATION! THEY THREATENED TO SUE US!" Hara yelled through the phone.

Her yell was certainly loud enough to attract the attention of everyone on the table. Gyeom Wu frowned.

Seo Yoon stood up and excused herself from the table.

"Hara," Seo Yoon tried to calm her down. "Why in the ever loving world are you brought to the police station? Is it about the money problem? Because we solved that a long time ago?"

"It isn't a long time. But that's not the point. You need to come save us from the station with Gyeom Wu, although we interrupted your dinner session with Mr Company Boss. Please." Hara begged through the phone.

"I'll be there shortly." Seo Yoon said as she hung up.

"I'll go with you. I wonder what those idiots have gotten themselves into." Gyeom Wu said from behind her.

Seo Yoon nodded as she made her way back to the table.

She turned to the man Gyeom Wu addressed as father.

"I'm very sorry sir but me and your son might have to leave the dinner earlier to....save some of our friends, if you don't mind." Seo Yoon explained.

Gyeom Wu's father only smiled as he nodded.

"Go." He said.

When Seo Yoon and Gyeom Wu left, one of the ladies at the table shook her head.

"I don't really favour a woman like her."

Gyeom Wu's father only shook his head to protest as he chuckled.

"She is just like my wife when we are younger. The good times that was." He said softly.

"Let's eat."

"You aren't....angry, right?" Seo Yoon asked as the two had managed to grab a taxi.

"No." Gyeom Wu replied immediately.

"I don't favour family dinners. I don't know most of the people there and there's always an awkward atmosphere."

Seo Yoon sighed in relief.

"I thought it was because of me." Seo Yoon said.

"That's nonsense." Gyeom Wu said as they arrived at the police station.

They rushed in the station and frantically turned their heads to spot Myun Bin and Hara.

Spotting them, they tackled them both.

"What were you fools doing to land yourself in a police station and interrupt the dinner?" Seo Yoon asked Myun Bin.

The policeman walked up to them.

"I was walking when i spotted these two young people spying on you two and Mrs Park Jung Rae. Thought they were stalking you two and brought them here to investigate. They were bawling their eyes out as they begged me to let them go." The policeman explained as he sat down on a seat.

Gyeom Wu turned their heads sharply to the guilty looking pair.

"You were spying on us?" He said, his tone laced with anger.

"We had nothing better to do and we were kinda curious to see how your dad would react to you bringing a girl over. We're not some secret stalkers!" Myun Bin defended him and Hara.

Seo Yoon sighed tiredly and turned to the police man.

"I'm sorry if you thought they were stalking us and i understand that bringing them here was part of your job. But they were only being idiots and fooling around. I do hope you can forgive them." Seo Yoon said.

"They better not be caught doing anything strange or weird next time." He huffed as he shooed them out of the station.

"You two are doing all the house chores this month." Gyeom Wu said as they crashed the dorm.

Hara and Myun Bin groaned.

Joo Ri let out happy barks at Seo Yoon, making her smile.

"Aww I'm gonna give you a bath Joo Ri." Seo Yoon said to the dog as she cuddled it.

"Myun Bin. Come with me. It's time you knew how to bathe this little angel here." Seo Yoon called the groaning boy over.

Both of them headed to the bathroom as Hara turned to Gyeom Wu excitedly. Her face lit up as she stared at Gyeom Wu.

I know that look anywhere.

Gyeom Wu thought as Hara smiled.

"Let's get some tattoos!" She said.
