Zoey POV
me and my mom are currently at the hospital where they just informed me that she has the Spanish Flu,
"Is there anything you can do?" I asked crossing my arms
"I'm sorry Ms Rodgers all we can do is make her comfortable," The Doctor said
I nodded walking in sitting next to her bed, mom turned her head towards me,
"Have I told you how much you look like you're father..." She said weakly
I chuckled
"I'd say since I was born but I can't remember that far back," I said smiling at her
"Especially when you're worried you get the same look he used to do," She said to me
I smiled at her holding her hand,
"I just wish I got the chance to tell him," Mom said
"It's okay mom" I said holding her hand
she put her hand on my cheek,
"I love you so much, my little star," She said
"I love you too, Get some rest" I said kissing her cheek,
I was out in the hallway it was late no one was around, I was sipping on some Coffee,
"Zoey Rodgers?" Some men approached me looking kinda shady
"Who wants to know?" I said
the man smirked pulling out a gun he shot me in the shoulder with a tranq dart,
I dropped my Coffee My vision got blurry I shake my head grabbing the nearby fire extinguisher, hitting the leader upside the head with it, making him fall to the ground unconscious, the two other men charge at me while one tried to punch me I ducked and sweep my leg into his ankles making him fall to the ground, by this time I was starting to get tired I tried to walk away only to be hit on the back of the head then everything goes black,
my eyes slowly flutter open, I quickly realize I'm not in the hospital anymore! I try to move but can't I'm strapped down to a table,
a man walks in with a lab coat on,
"Miss Rodgers, you have no idea how special you are do you?" He said smiling at like a creeper
"What are you talking about you psycho!" I said as I struggled
"I'm talking about how you're blood sample shows you have inherited you fathers super solider gene," He said smirking
"Which makes you our new project," he said smiling at me
