"Zoey we need to talk," Captain said
I was still leaning against the railing,
"What would that be?" I said tiredly
"Do you know who I am?" He said he sounded nervous
"Yes, Steve Rogers you tried to enlist during World War II but were rejected, Best Friend to one James Barns, 1943 you were recruited into the strategic Scientific Reserve as part of a super soldier experiment, later during a mission you fell into the arctic and were frozen, only to be woken 70 years later, How am I doing so far?" I asked
"Pretty, good but how did you-" He said
"Know, before what happened my mother used to tell me stories," I said still looking at the view
"I see," He said seeming to be in deep thought,
I dug out a picture of him that my mom gave me, and handed it to him,
"Before she died, she told me to find you," I said
He looked at the picture and smiled at it, He chuckled
"This seems like a different life time ago," He said
I smirked but didn't let him see,
"Wait if she told you to come find me why didn't you?" He asked
I shrugged,
"I was still trying to figure things out myself I guess, I just wanted to do things my way," I said
"Zoey listen to me this is gonna be an adjustment for all of us, including you but you're not alone any more I promise," He said
I finally looked at him,
I could see the concern in his eyes,
I felt tears starting to form,
"Zoey you are safe with us I can guarantee that," He said with a smile,
"You know she talked about you all the time," I said
I felt the tears fall down my cheeks,
"Come here," He said with a smile
We embraced in a hug his hand on the back of my head petting my hair, as I hugged him tightly,
"I'm here now, I promise," He said
