Ch. 30 "Tough"

                                                              Zoey POV

My dad had his arms crossed, so did Bucky, I glared up at them, not backing down, 

Dad glared down at me, 

"Zoey what were you thinking? do you have any idea how worried we were about you?!" Dad yelled 

I just rolled my eyes, 

"Don't you roll those eyes at me young lady," Dad said 

"Or what you gonna yell at me and send me to my room?" I asked 

We both glared at each other, Tony got in-between us, 

"Okay guys let's tone it back a bit," Tony said 

"Tsk, whatever I'm out of here," I said walking out of the room only to be grabbed by my wrist 

I went to wing at whoever grabbed me, but they caught it, I looked to see Bucky, 

"Nice swing, but a little sloppy even for you," He said glaring at me, 

Truth is I haven't been sleeping well, nightmares plague my sleep anymore, 

"That's it, we are taking you to Bruce and after we are having a long talk," Dad said 

"Pass," I said about to walk away again 

"I wasn't asking," Dad said 

Next thing I know Bucky slung me over his shoulder, 

"Hey! Seriously! Cut it out!" I yelled as I banged my fists on his back, 

"Not a chance squirt," Bucky said 

Finally we get to the lab and Bucky sets me down, 

"Don't ever do that again," I said glaring at him, 

"Maybe next time you will listen," Bucky said 

"Ah, Zoey good to see you again," Bruce said 

"Not like I had a choice," I mumbled 

"What seems to be the problem?" Bruce asked 

"Could you give her a check up, she has been on the lamb for weeks," Dad said 

"Sure no problem, but you two have to leave the room," Bruce said 

They both nod and leave, 

"Zoey sit on the table," Bruce said 

So After a few very fun tests he lets my dad back in, 

"Well?" Dad said 

"Bottom line, she's exhausted," Bruce said 

"Thank you Bruce," Dad said 

"Zoey let's go," Dad said 

I hesitated, 

"Now," He said 

I finally got off the table, and followed him to my room, 

We enter my room, 

"Just so you know, you open any of these windows an automatic alarm will go off," Dad said 

Great, I thought 

"Now sit we are going to have a long discussion about your actions lately," Dad said
