Chapter Sixty

Sophia's POV
I head down into the kitchen to see Calum , Luke , Lisa , Michael and ash sitting around the table.
" What are you guys doing here ?" I ask walking in the kitchen
" It's the start of exams today and we wanted to be together , so we came here " Michael smiles
" Um okay , oh did you guys help yourself to breakfast ?" I ask
" Soph don't worry , we did eat " Calum smiles
" Okay " I smile. We all make our way to school , I smile as I see the unhappy faces walk around. Most people would love to skip this part of school if not the whole of it. " Um , I'll be back in a minuet " I smile and slip away from the little group and go round the back of school where I see Cary alone.
" I'm here " I sigh
" Oh finally , listen I don't want you going to homecoming next week , nobody wants you there anyway. " she replies
" Ok can I go ?" I ask
" Yeah go on " she huffs but as I turn around she trips me up then walks away. I groan and sit up wiping the grit off my arms and hands.
" Soph what happened ?!" Michael asks running over to me
" Just tripped " I laugh
" C'mon your gonna be late for English " he chuckles and helps me up.
Calum's POV
I walk into English with the rest of the boys and sit down , I start reading through the little writing thing I had to do.
' This one person means everything to me. Two years ago we were close and best friends but I made one stupid decision that wrecked it all. It took me two years to finally realise what a complete idiot I was. This special person forgave me and I was happier than ever , but I kept causing arguments between us no matter how nice this person was. They gave me some good advice and I took it. Don't push the people that are trying to help away. This is perfect advice , if you push people away too much it's gonna get lonely for you. They also told me broken things don't mend straight away , definitely if they've been broke for a while. When you say sorry to someone you've got to mean it. If you drop a glass on the floor and say sorry to it , the glass doesn't go back to the way it was before. It takes time , only you know wether your mature enough to be patient and wait for them to trust you. If this person means a lot to you forget about your popularity and everyone else and talk to them. If your scared of what your mates think , if your scared that they'll make fun of you then I honestly think you've gotta get better friends because real ones will stand by your side though all your terrible decisions. People say once a cheater always a cheater , in some cases yes that's true but that doesn't mean they don't get a second chance.
Being a guy can be hard , some people look at you and think the bad things but obviously that happens to girls all the time. In my opinion this generation is messed up , love has no meaning anymore , it's just a word people say with no meaning , kind of like sorry. But I'm not gonna be one of those guys because there is one girl I'm head over heals for no matter what happens my feelings are stronger than anything. I'm gonna make sure I have a strong and healthy relationship , I want to prove real love is not dead.
This special person to me is broken but mending perfectly with a few bumps along the way but I will wait forever just to see her smile. Of course she smiles but the one where her eyes will light up and her nose will scrunch up and her eyes will crinkle. When that happens I will honestly be the happiest guy alive.
I stand up and give it to sir with a note saying don't read to class. He smiles at me then tells me okay. The door opens and in comes Michael with his arm around soph's shoulders. She sniffles quietly then sits down next to me putting her head in her hands.
' What happened ?' ~ me
' I don't know , I found her on the floor , she said she tripped but she wanted to clean the grazes in the girls bathroom but just started crying so I went in there , I have no clue what's wrong Calum but she's not acting right at all ' ~ Michael
' Have you told ash ?' ~ me
' Yeh , he knows ' ~ Michael
' Alright ' ~ me
I rub Soph's back soothingly after I put my phone down. She hugs me tightly and it surprises me but of course I hug her back , I'm happy she's not hiding her feelings.
" Soph c'mon lets get some air " I smile
" B...but class " she sighs
" We've got half an hour till class starts , c'mon " I reply linking our hands. She stands up and follows me outside , I turn back and notice cary's smirking at her. I take us to the food bit and buy two bottles of water then head outside. As soon as we sit down she starts crying again so I pull her into a hug. After about five minuets she gets herself together and stops crying but leaves her head on my chest.
" What's wrong Soph ?" I coo
" I want to tell you, but I can't " she cries
" Just tell me , otherwise I'm gonna be asking every five minuets , you know me " I chuckle
" I know you've seen the text ,well Cary text me asking do the boys still hurt you and I said no , then she said something about a deal , she and only her would hurt me but I couldn't tell you guys or she hurts me and gets other people to join in. I chose just her because I don't think I can deal with more than one person but she said if I tell anyone she's gonna hurt them and me " she cries
" No no please Soph don't cry , it breaks my heart to see you upset. She's not gonna lay a finger on you. This is gonna be annoying but I'm not leaving your side. You don't deserve to he hurt anymore Soph. I can't watch you go through this alone , the pain ends now " I coo
" B...but I don't want you to get hurt Calum " she hiccups
" I'm not. I don't want you hurt either you know" , thank you so much for telling me Soph , but aren't you mad at me for going on your old phone ?" I ask
"No , I'm not mad at all. " she smiles
" Should we get back to class then ?" I ask linking our hands again.
" Yeah , thank you for being here for me and sorry I got your T-shirt wet " she laughs slightly pointing to the tear stain on my chest.
" No problem , Are you going to homecoming next week ? " I ask
" Cary said not to come but I honestly don't want to " She smiles and starts playing with my fingers but then links our hands again.
" Are you sure ?" I ask
" Hmm , I'm sure. I'd rather spend the night in watching movies and eating food " she laughs
" Ready for our first exam ?" I sigh
" Ready as I'll ever be "she smiles , standing up. " I just can't wait till Thursday next week " she sighs
" Why ?" I ask
" School will be over" she smiles. We make our way into the main hall where we were all told to go , desks lay scattered around in different directions. Me and Soph sit fairly near each other but obviously we weren't aloud to sit on the same table.
" Alright you may start !" The teacher calls after explaining all the rules. I flip the page and start answering the questions.

The whole day was the was the worst thing ever , they changed all the best plans and made it so we had three exams today. First English , then maths , then science. on Thursday we have three more then next Tuesday we have whatever our extra lesson was
" I'm so tired I could pass out " Soph yawns
" Me too " I smile , I watch as one teacher comes round handing out letters to everyone. Soph opens hers and sighs loudly.
" We have to go school everyday this week so we can get the exams over and done with " she sighs
" Uh " I grunt " Just think of next Thursday " I smile " Oh and my mum was wondering , yet again when you wanted to come round ? she's pretty set on you having dinner with us " I chuckle
" Awe , how about next Saturday ?" she smiles
" Sounds great " I smile back.

Sophia's POV ( next day , Wednesday )
Me and Lisa make our way through school and to the main hall. Going into school everyday is horrible.
" What exam you got ?" she asks
" I don't even know , would you like to go to the canteen to get some water ?" I ask
" Yeah sure , we've got an extra half hour " she replies. " What's your number plans for the future ?" she asks out of no where
" Um , find a job I guess. But I don't really plan things out " I sigh " You ?" I ask
" Nah , me neither. It stresses me out far too much. I'd rather spend my time having fun and doing things that make me happy " she beams
" Me to Lisa , me to" I chuckle slightly. We buy our bottles of water then sit down at a table near the window.
" Oh look here comes the boys " Lisa laughs , looking out the window. I follow her gaze and see Ashton , Luke , Michael and Calum. They all look tired and Michael looks pissed off which makes me laugh. Minuets later they all come in the canteen and sit down with us.
" I'm so annoyed that they made us come in today , fucking twats " he growls
" Don't fucking swear !" Ashton curses
" I'm off " I smile and head into the main hall. I like being there early because talking to people before the exams makes me worried because we'll normally have a conversation about them and that works me up. Its not long before other students file through and sit at the given desks.

Luke's POV ( next day , Thursday )
" Luke honestly your gonna make us both late hurry up !"Michael calls , I run downstairs and head straight out the front door into Lisa making her fall over.
" Well that woke me up " she mumbled to herself.
" I'm so sorry Lisa are you okay? did I hurt..." I start but she cuts me off.
" Luke ! Stop worrying " she smiles , I blush slightly as we all walk down the gritty pavements. Lisa looks so beautiful today , like always really. I've Been hiding my feeling for ages now but obviously not very well because the rest can tell. I made a promise to my self to wait till after schools finished and I can honestly say I can't wait till That day.
" Last day of exams " Michael breaths to himself. He's never liked school. He always got in trouble for things he didn't do he also doesn't like getting up early but hey who does ?
" I honestly can't wait to get away from here " Lisa smiles to herself
" Away ? To where ?" I ask
" School , I hate it." she replies
" Oh okay " I smile
" Has anyone heard from Soph ?!!" Someone calls. I look up from the ground to see Calum walking towards us.
" Nope " I reply
" No , not since yesterday " Michael sighs
" She won't reply to me or Ashton " Lisa sighs as well
" I can't get hold of her " he sighs even louder than Michael and Lisa put together.
" Maybe she's just stressed and needs time " I suggest
" You don't know what happened yesterday Luke " he replies slightly harsh and walks away with Michael.
" Don't worry about him , you know how much he worries about her " Lisa smiles pecking my cheek , just at the small gesture my cheeks redden.
" C'mon " she laughs and walks into the school building.
