Chapter four: Players and Pieces x Jedi

Emerald Forest, 3rd person pov

As Yang, Blake, and Y/n were still making their way through the forest as Y/n and Yang were laughing and talking as Blake was watching them from behind them. She was lost in thought thinking about what y/n said last night and got her wondering.

Blakes Pov

*flashback* I was reading when two girls and a guy walked over to me trying to have a chat  and be friends. As we talked about the book that I was reading I heard y/n speak truth.

"The world is filled with cold hard facts...The future is not a river that carriers us but an ocean that drowns us if were not prepare." His words were so right that I felt a sense that he knew what I was going through like he was reading my mind. Before I closed my book and went to bed, I looked at him and felt like I found someone who understands me. *flashbacks end*

After I was sent flying through the air, I used my faunus skills and my weapon to slow me down and landed on one of the tree branches. (A/N: Cat stuck in a tree much lol) I looked around to see if anyone else made it down near me that's when I heard a Beowolf howl as I jumped from branch to branch getting closer to the sounds. I landed on a branch just above Y/n position but remained hidden from sight as I watched him get surrounded by Grimm. I wanted to help y/n out, but I notice the Grimm get chopped down one by one until I saw Y/n get hit and his face was bleeding but it looked like it didn't faze him at all.

He was calm and collected as more Grimm approached and surrounded him making me want to step in so I grabbed my weapon and was about to jump down when I saw Y/n pull out a another sword which I never seen before and threw both of them at the Grimm as the spinning blade twirled around in a circle killing the Grimm with in a second. He had such skill with the weapons, perfect control and balance I kept a close on y/n before he put the blades away and started to run towards the ruins the same place I was going.

3rd person pov

The three of left the tree line and stood at the top of a high hill as they looked down and saw a ruined circular building lined with stands, on the stands were several gold and black objects.

"Think this is it?" Yang asked as she looked down as Blake remained silent and walked down the hill followed by y/n and Yang.

"Chess pieces?" Blake said, sounding confused.

"Some of them are missing" Yang said as she looked around.

"I guess we weren't the first ones here..." Y/N said as he looked at one of the pieces intently as was trying to read it with the force to see if it had some kind of hidden power.

(Strange I don't sense anything from these pieces) Y/n thought to yourself.

"Well... I guess we should pick one" Blake said.

Y/n stood back as he watched the girls look over the relics as Yang stare at the figure of a horse's head intently.

"How about a cute little pony?" Yang asked happily, as she grabbed the piece and held it up in the air.

"Sure" Blake said with a smile.

"And I'll take this one" Y/N said as he grabbed a black queen.

"Well that wasn't too hard!" Yang said.

"Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find" Blake said.

"Still at least now we've got what we came for, now all we have to do is...." Y/n stopped when he felt a shift in the force meaning that there was going to be trouble.

Suddenly they all heard a loud girlish scream, Yang and Blake looked around for the source of the noise.

"Some girl's in trouble! Blake did you hear that?" Yang said, Blake however was looking up very confused.

Y/n went over to Yang getting ready to fight if needed.

"Blake, did you hear that? What should we d-" Yang asked.

Y/n saw Blake pointing up and the both of them looked up, and went wide eyed as they saw none other than Ruby falling from the sky, her eyes white with panic.

"Heads uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppp!" she yelled before she was hit hard by... Jaune?

Both of the kids flew into a nearby tree with a loud crash, (Ouch...) Y/n thought.

"Did your sister just fall from the sky?" Blake asked as y/n was also very interested in that question.

"I-" Yang was cut off by a loud roar, and several trees being knocked down.

They looked over and saw a big Ursa coming out of the forest swinging it's claws around, suddenly there is a loud boom and the creature falls down.

"Yeehaw!" screamed a certain ginger haired girl as she rolled off the Grimm.

"Aww, it's broken" she said sadly, before jumping on top of its head and looking at it.

"Nora? Please... don't ever do that again" said the girl's friend, sounding exhausted.

He looked up only to see that she had disappeared again, he looked around frantically before spotting her in the temple.

"Oooooo..." Nora said as she gazed at a white rook, she then grabbed the piece and happily held it up.
