The morning sun felt good on my skin as I walked through the courtyard of the academy heading to my next class with the black box that was carrying Blake's present. I was thinking to myself about Blake and how she held her own against a Sith. She had passed her first trail which was the trial of courage which the Jedi doesn't often require this trial. But the remaining trails will be hard for her for she had to face the trial of flesh which a padawan must overcome great physical pain, hardship or loss. Next was the trail of sprit consists of manly in forcing the padawan to look deep into themselves, and face that which lurks in the deepest corners of their being. To be honest those were the same ones I had to take before I became a knight and they still haunt me to this day sort of speak. Still I think the trial of sprit will be Blakes next test to complete. As I was in thought I felt something or someone brining be back to reality.
"Good morning y/n" Ruby said with a cute smile on her face. (A/n: When a cute girl gives you a cute smile you must protect it)

"Ah good morning Ruby, how are you?" I replied as the rest of her team walked over to us.
"Good morning Weiss, Yang, Blake." I greeted them with a little bow. The girls replied saying good morning as I looked at Blake with a smile before the five of us walked towards class. On our way Blake and I were talking about how it felt facing against a Sith like that and that her next trail which was the trial of insight.
"I think you are ready for the next step in your training Blake but first a little present for you that I worked on for over an hour just for you." I said as I handed her the box.
Blake's Pov
I look at y/n before I took the black box and opened it. My eyes widen as I saw a silver metal hilt.
"Is this for me?" I asked Y/n as I was in complete shock and speechless. He nodded and said that I deserve it. Feeling so happy I gave him a big hug and said thank you.
"Hey, you two hurry up." Yang said as she was ahead of us by a little bit. I placed the weapon inside the box and carried it with me to class.
*timeskip*
After classes had ended for today Y/n and I was in the gym testing out my lightsaber as part of my training. Our blades clashed as I slowly got the hang and use of the sword. As we continue to train, I felt a cold chill like something was out of place.
"Your thoughts are disturbed...I can feel it." Y/n said as he deactivated his weapon and placed it on his belt as he walked over to me.
"I sense something...I feel cold, darkness." I replied as I walk with him out of the gym and passed the courtyard and into the woods with him at my side. We continue to walk until we came to a cave in which I felt the darkness get stronger.
