Chapter 43 (Volume 5) Lord of Hunger x Jedi

3rd person pov

In the Land of darkness Salem was in a large room with dimly lit candles on her knees practice a dark side meditation she saw Milora did a few days ago after learning about the Sith and their teachings

*flashback*

Salem was sitting on her throne thinking to herself and her next move when Milora walks into the room.

"Yes, Salem something you needed of me" Milora asked.

"Yes, I did I'm curious more about the Sith tell me more about them." Salem replied as Milora started to tell her all about the Sith from the ancients on Korriban to the rule of two and their rise and a fall and how they hated the Jedi for years.

"The Sith sound like an interesting group of people and this planet Korriban was it sounds like I might fit right in considering it's fill so dark side energy." Salem said

"It is a place truly filled with the darkside of the force but now it's in ruins because the Sith turn on each other and collapsed form with in because they wanted power for themselves but in the end they destroyed each other from within a fatal flaw power, but no longevity. Eventually it just consumes itself." Milora said.

"And the rule of two?" Salem asked

"The Rule of Two was a Sith philosophy mandating that only two Sith lords could exist at any given time: a master to represent the power of the dark side of the force, and an apprentice to train under the master and one day fulfill their role. The philosophy of two governed the Lords of the Sith for a millennium, beginning with its founder Darth Bane.

"Tell me more about this Darth Bane." Salem asked as Milora started to explain the history of Darth Bane and the rule of two grabbing more and more of Salem interests.

*flashback end*

As Salem begins her dark side meditation she accidentally summons and hears the spirit of a long dead Sith Lord, one that was far worst and a threat to all Creation, the lord of Hunger, Darth Nihilus.

The Sith lord appeared before her as she backed away from the Sith Lord.

"Who dares summon me?" Nihilus said as Salem looks at the Sith lord.

"I am Salam Queen of the Grimm and I have questions for you." Salem said as Nihilus folded his arms in front of him as they started to talk which went on for at least an hour until things got out of hand as the two started to fight. At first Salem thought she had the upper hand by using her magic but it didn't do any physical harm to the Sith lord but Nihilus just laughed at her attempts as before Nihilus used the dark side of the force to drain the life force of Salem severely damaging her preventing her immortality from healing her injuries. Salem was on her knees as she felt her life being drain as Nihilus nearly consumed all of Salem but he spent to much time away from the dark side Nexus on Korriban as he was forced to returned but before he left he left an imprint the feeling of being spiritually devoured that taught Salem true fear and to make sure to know what to do, she won't know who she might let in.

Meanwhile on Menagarie Y/n and Blake were in one of the mines looking for lightsaber crystals as Y/n was searching for his as he came across an Eralam and an Opila crystal while Blake was looking for a Rubat and Sigil crystal.
