Chapter five: The Badge and The Burden x Jedi

3rd person Pov

The shattered moon shined down on the world below. The academy was silent like a grave. The moon shined into y/n's room through the open window. Y/n was out like a light dreaming of the days of being the Jedi going on missions studying the ways of the force with his brothers and sisters of the Jedi order. As y/n was dreaming he saw several flashes go through his mind. Y/n watched the images pass by until the image stopped on the Jedi temple.

The temple was in flames bodies of younglings and clones filled the hallways of the temple as y/N heard the screams of His fellow Jedi as they were gunned down by the men that they served with. It was horrible for anyone to bare. Y/n stood there as he was helpless even through this was a dream it felt real. The imaged changed as y/n saw the flag of the galactic empire blowing in the wind as several planets were under the rule of the empire. This wasn't a dream but a nightmare as he saw a massive space station that looked like a moon orbiting close to a planet before it fires and blew the planet to dust just by the sight alone made y/n feel pain.

Once again the images changed and in its place y/n saw a strange world with a shattered moon which he suddenly recognized as Remnant. Y/n was standing in Beacon surrounded by the girls of team RWBY and several shadowed figures.

Suddenly Beacon was overwhelmed by darkness, y/n saw them lying on the ground defeated and some severely wounded, Blake was clutching a bleeding wound in her stomach, and Yang was missing an arm.

"Ruby, Yang, Blake." Y/n called out to them.

He then saw a dark hooded figure standing before him over the girls with his lightsaber ignited his eyes glowing red before he did something that shocked him to his core. The dark figure stabbed the girls through the chest as they screamed before they laid dead right in front of him. Y/n screamed out as he ignited his saber and flew towards him with his saber ready to strike, The figure deflected the blow and struck at y/n forcing him back, suddenly y/n felt a hand on his shoulder and saw the girls standing beside him.

"Let us help you... find us..." came a quiet voice.

Y/n eyes widen as he saw them the girls as they smiled at him. Then a light figure took shape before you, it was yourself standing with an air of calmness.

"It's time for a new generation to rise!" The shadow said but before y/n even got the chance to even ask he was blinded by a white light.

Beacon academy, (Y/N)'s room, Y/n Pov

My eyes opened and I sat up in my bed as I placed my hand on my head and tried to recollect myself, I knew what I just experienced was not just a dream... the force has granted me a vision of my destiny.

"Was that the force telling me that I should start anew here?"

I asked myself as I hopped out of bed and went to the bathroom and splashed water on my face before I took a shower Is this what the force intended me to do when it threw me here?


It was a very intriguing idea I thought to myself as I let the water run over me. I could imagine myself along with my friends teaching others the ways of the force, I could create a new legend of the Jedi, huntsmen and huntresses.

I turned the water off and grabbed my towel and dried off.

"Speaking of which I'll also need to do some research on this world... there are many things I must discover, for instance this substance called dust..." I said in deep in thought.

"As well as why I feel echo's in the force around those girls..." I said, thinking back to when the girls each used their 'semblance's' and how I felt disturbances in the force, especially around Ruby, Yang and Blake they seemed especially powerful.

"When I have the time I must look into this Aura and Semblances, as well as this dust perhaps it will lead me to an answer to my destiny!" I said trying to think of ways to experiment, and get the answers I need.

"Well for now, I suppose I should make myself at home, after all this is my room for the next four years" I said standing up and stretching my muscles, getting a satisfying crack from my back.

I went over to my crates and opened them as I looked through my artefacts and relics, finding what I wanted to be kept close, one such item belong to my master a necklace with a small white pendent on it. It was a gift I gave to her when I was still a padawan training under her.

I moved The furniture around with the force and set up my artifacts and moved my bed before filling the closet with several different Jedi robes each with a hood and some without, I also unpacked my books, data pads, stone tablets and carvings as well as several crystals, lightsabers of different types and different blueprints.
