The next day Y/n and Terrence was heading to the military base to see if they can get some equipment as they Team RWBY, Qrow and Maria are standing outside of the gates to the Atlesian Military base on the island off the coast of Argus. Yang puts her hands on the bars of the gate to speak to the guards.

"Come on! You didn't even hear us out!" Yang said.

"Our orders are clear: The Mistrial -Atlas border is closed!

"Please!" The second Nubuck guard said.

"Have a good day!" The first Nubuck Guard said

"But—" Yang said.

"A good day!" Both Nubuck Guards said at the same time

"Hey guys what's up?" Y/n asked as he walked over to them.

"Hey Y/n, Terrence." Ruby said.

"What seems to be the problem here?" Terrence asked.

"These to guards won't let us in to the base." Yang said as Y/n looked at the two guards and got an idea.

"Let me try something." Y/n said as he walked over to the two guards.

"Excuse me gentlemen but you will let us pass." Y/n said.

"Like we said before the Mistral-Atlas border is closed." Said the first guard as Y/n tried a different tactic as he waved his hand in front of them.

"You will let us pass." Y/n said as the guards wasn't effected by the mind trick as he can't it didn't work on them.

"Sorry guys." Y/n said to his friends.

"Hey, if you don't wanna believe that I'm friends with Ironwood." Qrow said.

"General Ironwood!" Both Nubuck Guards said at the same time

"Yeah, General Ironwood, then fine. But look, we have Weiss Schnee with us and we're trying to get her home safely." Qrow said as Weiss looks down with reluctance upon hearing Qrow say that. The two guards look to each other before turning their attention back to the group.

"Approach!" Said both of the guards as Weiss shares a look with Blake, who just shrugs as Weiss walks up to the gate and the two guards step up and bend down to inspect her. After a moment, both guards stand straight back up.

"Very well!" Both guards said at the same time as this was getting on Terrence nerves with them talking at the same time.

"You may speak with our commanding officer!" Said the second Nubuck guard.

"We will fetch her at once!" The first Nubuck guard said as the two guards turn around in sync, and chant "Hup hup hup" and "Atlas Atlas Atlas" as they run to get their superior.

"They were... kind of—" Blake said.

"Super weird? Uh, yeah." Ruby said.

"Hmm..." Maria said.

"What's wrong?" Oscar asked.

"Well, I... may know this commanding officer..." Maria replied.

"That's good, isn't it? If she's your friend, then maybe she'd be more willing to help us." Ruby said.

"I wouldn't exactly call us... "friends". Maria said.

"Acquaintances?" Weiss asked.

"Not quite." Maria replied.

"Colleagues?" Blake asked.
