Sick Day (James x Reader)

James' POV

I was walking Floof around. We both needed to get outside before I got back to work. But I got a message from Y/N. "Hey James, can you get me some tissues? I'll pay you back." I read. Was she sick? Poor thing. I decided that would do more than just get her a box of tissues.

I knocked on her door as it slowly creaked open. "It's open." I heard. "You know you could get kidnapped if you keep your door open." I told her just as I walked in she looked pretty sick. Her nose was running, her eyes watered, she was shaking, and she has an awful cough. She was at her desk working on a video.

"Hey. You need to stop working or your not going to get any better." I told her.

"You don't need to be healthy to draw." she said not even looking up at me as she coughed again. "Plus, I'm fine."

I could tell she was lying. I picked her up but she started whining. "Nooooo~ I didn't finish....It's not fair."

"You need to get some rest. No working until your better." I said going into her bedroom.

"Fine daddy." she said. I blushed lightly but I put her in bed and tucked her in. I put the tissues next to her and a plastic bag so she can throw them away. "I'm going to go make you some food. Do you want anything?" I asked her.

"I want to work " she said pouting.

"Your so cute when you pout Y/N." I said. I saw her face sprinkle with a bit of pink as she rolled her eyes. I went downstairs to go leaving her alone for a bit.

As I was cooking I heard her whine from her room. "Jaaaames. Jaaaames." When I got to her room she just sat their. "I'm thirsty James. I'm hungry too. And I need my Vapor Rub." she said.

"I'll get you water but food will be a bit longer. Also what's Vapor Rub?"

"Ugh. You rub it on your chest to make you feel better and it's in the bathroom. Can you get it for me?"

I sighed. How could I say no to her. I got her water and Vapor Rub but she looked up at me with those eyes, those sparking eyes. Damn those eyes...

"James. Can you rub the Vapor Rub on me? I'm too sick to do it and everything hurts." I blushed. I can't believe she asked me to do that. I put some Vapor Rub on my fingers and rubbed it on her chest and forehead. Lastly, I have her a boop on the nose with it. She giggled and I just smiled.

My soup was ready as I brought it up to her on a tray. She looked pretty happy to see food. As soon as she saw it, she grabbed her spoon and she ate it. However, it was too hot so she spit it out. "Ow...." I started laughing as she crossed her arms. "Hey stop it!" she said blowing on the soup so she could taste it better. She seemed to enjoy it so that made me feel good.

"Well I did everything I could. Now get some rest Y/N. I'll come back tomorrow." I said. Before I could leave she grabbed my arm and looked up at me. "Please stay with me. " she begged. "I like it when your here with me." I blushed bright red and decided to stay with her for the night in case she needed me.

That's night I checked on Y/N and I saw her sleeping. She looked so beautiful. I started at her and watched her sleep. As I walked up to her bed I realized how soft her bed was and I couldn't help but falling asleep next to her.

The next morning, I woke up with Y/N out of sight. I hear noise from downstairs and got worried. "I hope she's not sick anymore." I thought. Before I could get out of bed, Y/N came in with some breakfast on a tray.

"I wanted to thank you for taking care of me James. " she said walking over to me.

"No problem. That's what I'm here for." I said. She kissed my cheek as she out the tray don't and scooted next to me. I felt my face warm up as she leaned on me. We cuddled and bed and shared breakfast for about half an hour that morning.
