Elementary High - (Part Five)

(Warning : Underaged Drinking)

It was Friday night and the gang was outside hanging out. They weren't doing anything weird but just enjoying there time together. Friday nights were there time to relax and have fun together. Sometimes they went out drinking but most of them didn't drink much.

"So, what's going on with you guys? Any big plans this weekend?" Tim asked.

"Y/N and I are gonna hang out for a bit this weekend. Saturday at 6." Adam said. Y/N smiled and lightly blushed. "Oooo~" the others said.

"Y/N and Adam are going on a date!" Jaiden teased.

"Aww they grow up so fast." James said wiping a fake tear from his eye.

"Yeah, yeah, so when are you guys gonna tie the knot and get married?" Y/N said. Adam chuckled as the two were silent as they blushed. "You guys are weird as hell." Tim laughed.

Jaiden's POV

We all were walking home together. Tim, James, and I had to make sure Adam and Y/N got home safe. They didn't get too wasted but better safe than sorry.  James and I were in the back while the other three were in the front. The truth was I did want James and I to hang out more. I looked up at James embarrassed but I did it.

"H-hey James...Do you t-hink it would be c-cool if w-we hung o-out li-ke how Y-Y/N and Adam-m do..?"

I was shaking a bit even and my face was probably red at this point but James smiled. "Sure!" he said.

Y/N's POV

Today was the day! Adam was going to pick me up in an hour.

Me : What should I wear?

Adam: I don't know. Something nice but not too much. We're not going somewhere real fancy. Dress for a hang out with a little something date like.

"He called it a date..." I brushed my hair and did it as nice as it would get. I put on a small skirt and a jacket. I waited for him to come over and once he did a raced downstairs and opened the door. "Hey Adam."

"Hey princess. Ready for that movie?" Adam said. I smiled and nodded as we headed out. From the corner of my eye I noticed Adam looking at my outfit. "Hey! I saw that Adam." I told him. He blushed and looked down a little embarrassed. "I saw you blush too fire boy." Adam nudged my shoulder. When I noticed his outfit. It was a leather jacket with blue jeans.

We got to the movie and we both sat down. He never told me what the movie was about or what it was but I was hoping it was fun! Turns out it was horror. I didn't really lie horror that much. It was alright but not that bad.

During the movie Adam looked a bit creeped out. Looks like he doesn't like the scary movie much. We were on the same page because I could feel my nerves crawling up my spin. Adam held onto me as he looked pretty spooked at that point. It was alright to me. We finished the movie and went out to eat.

"Adam where are we going?" I asked him. I thought he was bringing me to some Mc. Donald's or something. However, I was at a house.

"This is where I live. I actually made us dinner." He told me.

"You can cook?" I asked him.

"You bet cutie." He said. I rolled my eyes and walked in.

I sat at the dinner table and looked around. You could tell he wants alone because you could hear someone yelling in the room above. It sounded like a male voice. A brother? I heard someone walking down the stairs. It was a woman. His mom? She walked into the kitchen.

"Hey, mom! Whatcha need?"

"Nothing. So...that's your friend?" She asked.

"Yeah. You didn't tell her anything did you?" Adam asked.

"Why you don't want me to show her photos of when you were younger?"

"NO!" Adam yelled.

"Alright, alright. I'm just checking in. Have fun." She said kissing Adam's forehead. She winked at me and walked back upstairs.

Adam came back out with dinner it was ( your favorite food idc ) and two beers. His cooking was actually really good. The best I ever had really. "This is really good Adam!"

"Glad you like it. Took me forever to learn that."

"Did you learn how to cook in only a few days just for me?"

"Maybe." he said.

The two of us toasted to each other and drank up. The alcohol burned a little but it tasted fine. "Does your mom and dad know you drink this stuff?"

"Nope and we're gonna keep it that was ya here?" he said. I nodded and drank up.

Adam walked me home and we talked a bit. We both were laughing and smiling. It was 8:35 when we got to my place.

"Hey Adam...?"

"Yeah princess?"

"Do you think we could do this again soon?" I asked him.

"I'd love that kid." He said pulling me into a hug. I pecked his cheek and walked off. I tired around as he held his cheek with one hand was waved back with the other.

When I got home I noticed I got a few  calls from Jaiden. I answered her and she picked up fast. "Hey Y/N. How was your date?" she asked.

Rather than denying it being a date I caved. "It was amazing. Adam cooked dinner for me and it was my favorite food. He was super nice. He learned how to cook just for me. He held me as the movies when he was scared it was so cute!"

Jaiden laughed as I calmed down. "Jaiden, I think I do like him."

Adam's POV

On Monday all I could think about was my next date with Y/N. I've been learning how to cook other foods just to get ready. But the best part was my kiss on the cheek she gave me. When I got to school I heard someone whisper my name.

"Ugh...What do you want?" I said. I knew who it was. I knew I should just walk away but I know from experience when she wants something she'll do anything for it.

Cheerio came out and looked back up at me. "Saw you and Y/N on Saturday. What's up with you two? You really gonna date a person with no powers?"

"We're not dating and I don't care what you say She doesn't need powers."

"Don't you think she's a little useless? She's pushing for something she'll never have. Just go back to being with fires like you." She was starting to get touchy. She booked my face and hugged me.

"GET OFF!" I told her. She pulled herself on to me.

Suddenly, James and Y/N walked in. We we're both still. I looked at how bad things were.  It looked like I was carrying Cheerio. "Y/N, it wasn't me." She had little tears in her eyes she booked it out the door. I followed her and James followed me. We passed Tim and Jaiden as they follow us too. Everyone was confused and scared as we all stood outside Y/N's house.
