Elementary High - (Part Four)

Y/N's POV

The next week I was welcomed back to school. My leg felt better so my parents told me to get ready for school. James, once again, met with me from my house and walked me to school. Both of us were just talking all the way. "Glad you can walk again, we all missed you at school."

"Thanks James. I missed you guys too. " I said forcing a smiled onto my face. James looked at me and could tell something was wrong. "You gonna tell me what's wrong Y/N?" I sighed and looked up at him.

"Do you this Cheerio is gonna bother me again?"

"Your not alone Y/N. Cereal girl won't hurt you." James said. I smiled and laughed a little as we got close to school.

Tim and Jaiden were outside taking. We joined them and we were all together until the bell rang. Everything was pretty normal for the whole day. Up until Fire classes. As normal I sat down and just looked at the other students the whole time until Adam sat next to me.

"Hey Y/N. You bored?" he asked.

"Don't you have work to do? Your not gonna get better if you don't try."

"And your not gonna get better until you try. Plus, lunch is coming up. Tim knows a bunch about powers so he can help you."

At lunch we say around Tim to hear what he had to say about my problem. "I don't know guys. We should just wait for her to get her powers on her own."

"Please Tim, let's just try." I asked.

Tim sighed and continued. "Your powers can be attached to an emotion. Fire can be energetic, enthusiastic, passionate, and an achiever like Adam. Water can be refreshing, charming, and emotional like James. Air is powerful, creative and fun like Jaiden. Earth is strong, loyal, and grounded like me. When you feel a powerful emotion you should get your powers."

"I got my powers some younger kids and I were being picked on." Adam said.

"I got mine when I was playing with my brother. We got a little ruff and that's when my powers came in." Jaiden said.

"I was having a fight with one of my siblings and my water powers started coming in." Jaiden said.

"And I got mine while I was studying here." Tim said. "You need a strong emotion and maybe it'll start." It was the beta shot I had. I still wanted my powers really bad so I might as well try. I'm sick of all the extra work.

Throughout the whole week we were trying to find out a feeling that made my powers come out. We tried stress, anger, happiness, even this morning Adam shared the shit out of me with a stupid prank. Nothing worked. I wasn't that sad though because Adam was gonna hang out at my house again.

Adam and I sat on the couch as we looked for a movie to watch. "Hey, you ever see a Marvel movie?" Adam asked.

"Nah, not really. I haven't seen any Marvel movies in my life. I heard there good."

"You never watched a Marvel movie?!" Adam looked really surprised. "That's it. We need to watch all of them to catch you up." Adam said putting on a movie.

"But that's gonna take us days!" I told him.

"Well I'll just come back daily till we finish. Plus, maybe seeing how awesome the movies are will start up your powers." I just gave in and started watching. Adam was right these movies were amazing. We watched each of them and we're both entertained. Hours later Adam feel sleep next to me. I turned off the movie and feel asleep on top of him. I didn't feel any powers but I did feel my feelings grow. I want Adam to come to my house all the time.

Adam's POV

When I woke up Y/N was on top of me  sleeping. I enjoyed her soft purrs on top of me. Hate to say it but the kid is adorable. She's like a kitten, cute but strong. After a while of thinking I came up with an idea. Just in time too because she woke up. "Hey princess." I called her.

"Great now your calling me kid and princess." She rubbed her eyes and got off of me. I chuckled and we both sat in silence for a minute. I thought of my words carefully and started. "Hey Y/N, just wondering but, do you wanna hang out somewhere else next time?"

"What do you mean Adam?" she asked me.

"Maybe, at a place where you consume food and watch entertainment on a big screen." I told her. My face was probably red at this point because smirked. "Sure that would be cool."

I felt stars in my eyes. However I tried to play it off as if it was nothing. All I saw was her rolling her eyes. We were going on a date this weekend.
