Animator Ships One Shots (Discontinued)

Karaoke (Adam X Rebecca)

Everyone was hanging out and just having fun. It was a few days before Vidcon and everyone was super excited. As usual, every year the animators come together to sing karaoke songs. It was a bit of a tradition for them.

Everyone sat back as some of the others started looking for songs to sing. "So who's going first?" Illy asked as she looked through some songs. Everyone looked at each other expecting someone to go up.

"Rebecca should go, she's a pretty talented singer after all." Adam said pointing at Rebecca. She shyly smiled and looked away. "You have a great voice too Adam. You should go." Rebecca suggested.

"Why don't you both just sing a duet together? It is karaoke after all." Illy said.

Rebecca and Adam looked at each other. Adam got up first. "Well are we doing this or not?" he asked, extending his hand out to Rebecca. She took his hand and both choice a song.

As soon as the song started Rebecca began to sing. Adam couldn't help but stare at her as she sang. He really enjoyed her voice and the way she sang. For some reason he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. He even missed his turn to sing. Adam quickly tried to keep up with the words as best he could. Rebecca tried not to laugh as Adam desperately tried to keep up with her. She walked over to him and joined him to help him catch up.

When the sing was over everyone gave them a standing ovation. Adam grabbed Rebecca's hand and the two bowed. "Next time, try to keep you're eyes in the lyrics Adam." Rebecca teased.

"Try not to be so distracting next time." Adam said. "You're an amazing singer, Rebecca."

Rebecca blushed and smiled at Adam, which made his heart flutter with excitement. James noticed this and nudged Adam's shoulder.

James pulled Adam outside of the room to talk to him. "So what's with you and Rebecca?" he asked.

"N-Nothing!" Adam yelled. "We just sang a song that's it."

"Looks like someone has a crush~" James sang.

"No I don't. Shut up Jameson." Adam said.

"Aww come on!" James whined while playfully shoving Adam. He just walked back into the room. James groaned and sat down in his seat next to Adam.

Adam didn't wanna admit that James was right, he did like Rebecca. He just sat down with his arms crossed. Even though he looked upset, Adam was actually in a good mood. He was still thinking about Rebecca. Adam felt his face grow warmer as his smiled.
