Its been 8 years since I lost my dad, I'm now 17. My mom started drinking 6 years ago and she's been abusing me ever since. Keeps saying I remind her of him, that I should've never been born, and that I was a mistake. Its hard to hear that from someone you loved I say loved cause I don't anymore.
Its a school day today so I'm up getting ready grabbing my stuff for school when.
"LILLIAN GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!!" My mother yelled.
"Yes mother" I said while walking downstairs.
"WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE GET OUT OF THE HOUSE YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!!" She yelled in my face.
"Yes ma'am I'm going bye" I said walking out the door I walked down to ari's house and knocked on the door.
"Hey Lillian how's it been so far?" She asked.
"Bad I already pissed off my mom for nothing" I said annoyed.
"I'm so sorry you have to deal with this Lillian you really don't deserve it" she said.
"I know I don't but I can't change it. come on lets go to school" I said while we walked out of the house. We got dropped off at school.
"Thanks mom see ya see later, love you" ari said to her mother.
"Bye Mrs. Rose, thanks for the ride" I said.
"You're welcome lillian. Have a good day girls" Mrs. Rose said.
"BYE!" We said.
"You excited for the game tonight?" Ari asked me.
"Actually yeah, I feel like I need a longer time away from my mother. Also I'll get some time to hangout with you." I replied.
"Awe I'm gald to be spending time with you too. Now give me hug." She said walking towards me arms wide.
"Ugh, fiiine" I sighed out with a smile walking to hug her.
"Oh shut up you know you love my hugs don't try me." She said while giggling.
"You're right I do" I said laughing.
"Come on let's go to class now" she said.
"Ugh fine lets go" I said and we started walking to class. We had our first three classes together so we got talk quite a bit.
---------------------4th period----------------------
I got in class and sat at my desk and got my stuff out. The teacher was saying something but I was too far in my head to listen.
' you're worthless, nothing, nobody cares about you. you think ari cares about you shes just being nice cause she feels bad for you she'll leave. The-'
"Hey are you okay?, you look like you're about to cry." A guy asked me
"Huh?, oh yeah no I'm fine." I said. I really didn't feel like talking right now.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yeah I'm sure" I turned to look at him. I swear I almost drowned looking at those ocean blue eyes.
"Okay if you say so. Just know I'm here to talk you can trust me" he said reassuringly.
"O-ok" I said a little distracted by his eyes. He got up and walked back to his desk. I watched him walk off.
' why did he care? I mean I appreciate it but why did he care.'
