Xedna's POV
After Tara deciding that we'll be staying here and yes she decided that we were staying because I wasn't going to leave her here alone with these people we barely knew. I get out of bed and get dressed in my clothes. Boots, pants, and a tank top. I walk out the room and down the stairs out of the packhouse and onto the driveway of the Property. Looking around I walk to the sun standing in the small sunspot. I close my eyes enjoying the warmth of the sun listening to the wind blow through the trees my face tilted toward the sun I smile feeling a slight amount of freedom just from the sun and wind. I inhale and exhale remembering where I am and sigh deeply. I lower my head opening my eyes as my vision comes back from bright blues and yellows to normal again. I turn to look at my bike still sitting in the driveway collecting dust. Poor red I was terrible to my baby. I walk near my bike leaning down to the saddlebag to pull some tools out. We've been here almost a month and a half now. I missed riding my bike the freedom I felt. I was starting to feel like a prisoner. I pull my phone out plugging in my headphones to listen to music. They hadn't taken our phones because there was no service in this damn black hole now called our new home. While I'm getting ready to work on my bike Tara comes out I've been shooting my dagger eyes at her for a while now and she's been ignoring them. She sits on the edge of the porch swinging her feet back and forth having a moment like I just did with the sun. As I start to work on my bike I see Tara looks my way making a flower appear in front of me and making it tickle my nose. I swat it away looking up at Tara She stares at me looking apologetic. I roll my eyes at her waving my hand to her letting her know I was over it finally. I know she had her reason for wanting to stay here and she was fitting in really well. She would make a better Luna than I would. I'm too harsh and straightforward with people that I come off as a bitch. I've tried to fix it many times but I was brought up differently than Tara was. My dad was always making me train to protect myself. Not sure what I needed protecting from till now learning about myself and Tara. Sighing a deep sigh I start to work on my bike again and Tara gets up and starts walking away.
"Where are you going!?" I yell at her as she's still walking away.
"I'm going to walk around get to know the place get out my ass bitch. We're in a safe place quit being so overprotective!" Tara yells at me with an attitude.I groan Sighing again and continue to work on my bike.
Damon's POV
The sun was starting to rise as the pack and I were returning from securing the grounds keeping the rouges and hunter away. I turn towards the packhouse when I notice Xedna walking out the door and into the sunlight. I stand in the cover of the woods watching her. She just stands there enjoying herself in the sun with the small breeze and she smiles. I haven't seen her smile ever since having to live here. I watch her chest rise and fall as she breaths. She was even more beautiful when she smiled it was like she was saying thank you to the sun for being out today. When she sighed her posture sinks and she turns to look at her bike. I leave her to finish having her moments alone with her bike. I turn to the pack giving out the orders for today's training and securing the grounds When Tara comes into view waving at me.
"Your sister seems to be slightly coming to terms with life here," I say to Tara sarcastically.
"I actually wanted to talk to you about her," she says looking concerned.
" I'm listening.." I say resting my arms across my chest.
"Look Sid's going nuts being here for so long and not having any freedom. She loses it if she doesn't get to be free to roam and do as she pleases. When she lost her dad she went through a lot, her emotions were everywhere and in her grief, she was making people sick killing them. She wasn't trying to hurt anyone she just couldn't control her powers. She's not the same after her dad. I think you should take her on a date. A bike ride she loves riding that thing it's the only thing that helps bring her clarity." Tara says being concerned about her sister's mental state. I stare at her thinking this is good. All I want is to be close to her so this might work.
