The writer in me.
I read something today, It wasn't easy on the eyes but I couldn't stop myself from reading it again and again.
If I could ever say anything to the writer, It would be this:I don't know why, but your words are too real to me, I don't know why your words remind me of someone I'm familiar with.
How every word, every line, brings me closer to a realisation, but not too close to completely realise it.
How every paragraph pushes me towards an undeniable conclusion that I've felt like this before, that your words are not foreign to me.If I could say anything to you, I would say that you know me better.
You.
You, the writer in me knows me better.
Far better than I've ever had and I ever will.
You, the writer in me is more honest to me.
Far more than I'll ever be.
You, the writer in me knows how to turn that pain within into something beautiful.
Poetry, while I've always pushed it away, far away in the dark and never really acknowledged it.
You, the writer in me made me realise that, now is the time to stop switching sides.
Now is the time to draw the line. You made me realise that, now is the time to connect the writer in me with this soul of mine.
