"So where has Tommy gone?" I asked for the thrid time.
Tommy had left earlier this morning to go to a business meeting, where? I have no idea and I'm starting to realise the maids don't know either.
"I'm sorry Primrose but your Father didn't tell us where he was going," The Maid Emily explained. "Why don't you practice the piano?"
I huffed and leaned back into Tommy's chair that was in his study; This house was big, really big but is was so boring when you're on your own, Charlie was asleep because he had a cold and the Maids weren't much fun, I had practiced piano, read some chapters in a book, practiced my writing and found something fun to do to annoy the Maids, since I was quite small I had fun riding the dumb waiters; A dumb waiting is a small hole in the wall that you put food in, then you pull a rope to either lift or lower food to another floor instead of carrying it up and down stairs. I would climb in the dumb waiter and travel down to the kitchen to sneak food then go back up to the top floor but now that was getting boring!
I looked out the window and saw the sun was shining. "I think I'll go explore the forest," I said out loud as I tied a ribbon in my hair.
As I ran out the study I grabbed my coat and slipped it on, I climbed into the dumb waiter and lowered myself down to the kitchen, I opened the slide door peeping out looking for the cooks and thankfully no one was there. I climbed out then grabbed an apple that was on the side then out the door I skipped and down the gravel path towards the field. The air was cool but the sun felt nice against my cheeks as I walked, I saw the horses running in the field chasing each other and jumping around playing.
I took a bite out of my apple as I looked in the horses water, I dipped my finger in the water and a few orange fish swan up to my finger and nibbled on it making me smile, I pulled my finger out and dried it on my coat, I continued to eat my apple as I entered the horses field, I did my best to not step in the horse poop.
As I walked I felt something hit my back. "Huh?" I said as I turned, I then came face to face with a large black horse. "And you're the horse that doesn't like me?"
A few days ago me and this horse fell out, sounds strange I know but we fell out. I was sat on the fence just in my own world, reading a book while Tommy was tending to another horse, the giant black horse quietly snuck up on me and ripped my book out of my hands and threw it on the ground and stood on it, then the horse used it's head to push me off the fence!
The horse opened it's mouth and tried to take my apple but I pulled my arm away. "Hey that's mine, I found it!" I told him but the horse tried to bite the apple again and I knew I wouldn't be able to get out this field without being stood on by this animal. "Fine have it, I love horses but you are something else, monster!"
I fed the horse the apple then watched him walk away giving me a soft neigh. I huffed and continued to walk through the field towards the tree line that led to the forest, I hadn't had the chance to explore the forest as Tommy always said it wasn't that nice of a place to go but today I was going.
*BANG**BANG*
I jumped at the sound of gun shots as I entered the tree line; I looked around trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. Slowly I walked further into the forest seeing if I could find out where it was comin from...
*BANG*
Another gun shot made me jump and turn to my right, I slowly headed in that direction and I could hear a faint voice, I croached down as I climbed through a few trees and bushes until I could see a man picking up a rabbit.
"Ah ya little bastard, I got ya!" The man cheered.
I smiled when I realised who the man was. "Hey Uncle Arthur!" I greeted.
