I looked at my Father. "Can we go now?" I asked as I leaned back in the large chair.

My Father leaned back in his chair holding my brother on his lap. "We just got here," He stated.

"And I'm ready to go," I told him.

"Primrose we are here for a reason," He began.

I sat up. "We are here because Ada is worrying over nothing," I told him.

The three of us were currently in the Doctor's office. Ada was more than concerned over my 'attack' the day of the explosion at the factory, my Father was convinced anything was wrong but he decided to take me to the Doctors to get my chest checked.

"If we climb out the window then no one will know we were here," I told him.

My Father looked at me blankly. "Stay in that chair," He told me sternly.

I huffed as I threw my head back looking up at the ceiling, my fingers tapped on the arm rests as I waited... and waited... and waited... and waited.

I sat up again. "Don't say it!" My Father spoke up.

"I want to go," I whispered.

Just then the door opened to reveal the Doctor holding some papers. He shut the door and walked over to me-

"Primrose Shelby, eleven years old daughter of Thomas Shelby," The doctor read his paper work. "You were in a factory fire a few weeks ago is that right Miss Shelby?"

I looked at my Father who looked straight back at me in annoyance. "Yes she was, she was in hospital for a while," My Father said to the doctor. "My sister was with Primrose the other week when she said she was struggling to breath, holding her chest, coughing."

The doctor nodded as he picked up his stethoscope. "Now Miss Shelby the metal might be a bit cold on your skin, sit up for me," He instructed.

Reluctantly I sat up facing my Father who was watching the doctor very carefully.

"Alright Miss Shelby just breathe in slowly," The doctor told me as he put the stethoscope in between my shoulder blades then slowly I breathed in. "Lovely and out slowly."

I breathed out slowly making my little brother laugh. "Anything?" My Father asked.

The doctor stepped away from me. "She has a cough, it's common this time of year and she was exposed to a lot of smoke," He explained. "Miss Shelby will be fine."

I looked at the doctor. "May we go now?" I asked sweetly.

"Yes of course, you are healthy," The doctor told me.

I scrambled off the large chair and sped over to my Father. I slipped on my coat and hat as my Father stood up with my brother on his hip; I opened the door and the three of us left the office. I raced out the building and onto the busy street as I waited for my Father.

"So why don't you like Doctor's?" My Father asked as he walked out the door.

I looked at him. "Was I that bad?" I asked.

"You asked me six times if we could leave and I saw you planning an escape route through the windows and an escape route out the door," He explained as we started walking down the street. "So what's the story?"

I kicked a stone along the path. "Well there isn't much of a story," I began. "I've never been to the doctors."

My Father grabbed my shoulder. "Your Mother never took you to the doctors?" He asked in shock.
