A/N- Due to covid19 drama AKA I've been in meetings to try and get back to work but it's not happening....
This is short like me but next chapter is gonna be Tommy and Primrose against the rest of the damn world and you guys are so not ready for it!

Daniel and I continued to follow my Dad down the dull streets of London. It was now early hours in the morning, some very strange people were out on the streets, some were beggars, some were women and others were erm well I think they were hit on the head at birth, they talked about the stars one day killing us and others talked about man destroying the world or something like that.

I had to admit London was very different to Birmingham; I couldn't really explain how it was different, I suppose I just felt very small in this big city where the rich were all powerful and strong, the weak were forced to the ground and made to obey their leaders. Maybe I felt this way because here the peaky blinders weren't in change and anything could go wrong here?

My Dad was a very cautious person, every few streets we would look back the carry on walking. We had to keep jumping behind bins, walls and standing with random people to make it look like we were with them... Not creepy or weird at all.

"GET DOWN!" I whispered harshly.

I grabbed Daniel's arm and pulled him behind the corner of a building then I pulled out my small hand mirror from my coat pocket and used it to look around the corner; This little mirror was a life saver.

We must have been a good few miles away from the hotel and we were now in a very run down part of the city which worried me since the streets round here weren't very well lit so you couldn't really see who was about.

I watched as my Dad knocked on the door of an old factory, he looked around to see if he was being followed then the factory door opened and my Dad walked inside letting the door close behind him.

Daniel and I stepped from round the corner. "Now what do we do?" Daniel asked.

"We are going to protect him!" I stated.

I stood up tall and walked towards the factory but took a detour and went around the side, Daniel was close behind me and kept looking behind us making sure we weren't seen. We found some crates that were stacked by a window, together we slowly moved the crates under the window and we stood on them to get a better look inside but we couldn't see anything but lots of machines.

"Help me with the window," I whispered.

Together we pushed the window up slightly so a small gap appeared. "Can you get through?" Daniel asked.

"I can try," I whispered,

I slipped my legs through the gap then gently eased my way through, the side of my face gently scraped along the wood of the window. My feet landed on the concrete floor with a soft thud.

*SMASH*
I jumped in fright at the sound of a glass smashing.

"What was that?" Daniel asked as he stuck his face in the gap.

I slowly looked around; It was cold and dark, the machines were in used, there wasn't any dust anywhere and everywhere looked pretty tidy but where was my Dad. As I walked further and further into the darkness Daniels whispers became very faint but my curiosity was getting the better of me, I had to really focus my eyes to see what was in front of me, doing my best not to walk into anything. As I walked I tripped slightly then fell to the ground with something wrapped around my legs, I untangled my feet and realised it was a thick coat, as I stood up a familiar smell came from the coat and my eyes went wide.

"Dad," I whispered with worry.

I began to move quicker through the factory, every so often I would knock against a piece of machine, my clothes kept getting caught and my body scrapped against pieces of metal that were sticking out.
