Narrators POV:
The pain was unbearable to Thomas and he didn't know how to get rid of it.
It was so bad that he thought he was having hallucinations of a man in black clothing and orange chains. But little did he know that the man he sees is his inner monster. He was there for a reason, but no one knew why. He was just there. In the beginning, there were two kingdoms like places in Thomas's mind. The place of the light is where Roman, Patton, and Logan resided. And then there was a place of pain, suffering, cruelty, and hate. That is where Virgil, Deceit, Remus and the mysterious man came from. One by one, they all left for reasons they kept close to the chest, but the vampire never left and the reason he came here was still to be determined.
Now there was no time to figure out anything. Logan and Patton quickly went to Thomas's aid. He was crying so much that he couldn't breathe. Patton began to ask a plethora of questions regarding how he felt. "Are you okay? How are you? Do you need to throw up? Are you sick? Why are you so pale? Not that you're not always pale but you just seem-" Logan cut him off. "Patton! Calm yourself! We are going to get this resolved!" Thomas felt chills creep up his spine. "Logan?" he asked. "What have you been hiding?". The room fell into an awkwardly long silence until Virgil mumbled:" None of us are hiding anything."
Thomas stared at Virgil.
"We came here to tell y-"
Suddenly, there was a loud banging on the door and someone on the outside was yelling profanities to no end. Logan covered Patton's ears. Roman held Virgil tightly.
"Tell me what?!" Thomas screamed.
"About that!" Remy pointed at the door. The door handle began to shake rapidly. Deceit grabbed some large heavy objects to block the door.
It went on for another 10 minutes before it suddenly stopped. Instantly silent. Logan was about to say something before he felt his body being taken over by someone or something. But he wasn't the only one. Roman, Patton, and Remy felt the same way. They weren't themselves anymore. Deceit and Virgilwere the only ones unaffected. The two dark sides tried escaping, but the items Deceit placed in front of the door seemed heavier than what they were before. Virgil and Deceit were trapped...
