Richie's POV
"Where's Laura?" Stan asked as I sat down next to him at lunch.
I shuddered at her name and shrugged.
"Oh y-yeah, how was y-your date?" Bill asked with his eyebrows wiggling.
I pushed my glasses up, "Eh, we aren't soulmates, not too heartbroken about it."
Both Stan and Bill laughed.
"I'm just surprised you actually went on a date with a pretty girl!" Stan was teasing me, but I felt my heart drop.
"Why is it surprising I went out with a girl?!" I was practically shouting, "I love girls!"
Real convincing Rich.
I was about to dramatically stomp out when I was doused in cold milk.
I quickly tried to clear my glasses to view my attacker, which I suspected to be a senior.
But it wasn't.
It was Laura Johnson. A very pissed Laura Johnson.
"The fuck-" Stan and Bill both exclaimed.
But Laura cut them off with a very intense and spiteful glare.
"Richie fucking Tozier!" She successfully got the attention of the whole lunchroom with her scream.
I found the nerve to speak, "w-what's up Laura?"
"You are the biggest dick I have ever met!"
I looked back nervously at my friends, they offered no help.
"Who runs out on a girl while they are making out?!"
Oh fuck.
"We were on a date! And you left me alone in that movie theater after making such a scene of running out, it was so embarrassing!"
"Laura I'm so-"
"Sorry?" she interrupted, "No, I'm sorry that I ever decided to go out with you. I had thought all of the rumors were fake,"
My eyes went wide, I knew what she was going to say.
"Laura, it's not what you think," I was pleading with her. Begging her not to say what I knew was coming next.
She scoffed, "Richie Tozier is gay!" she screeched.
Oh shit oh fuck oh no.
"In fact," she continued, "he's so gay he can't even kiss a girl without gagging!"
And then I ran out of the lunchroom.

Another short chapter, but this one was suspenseful so..
