Eddie's POV
"Eddie stop!" Richie was actually giggling as he pushed my face away from his neck.
"You sound so manly right now, wow," I snarked and he rolled his eyes then messed up my hair.
We were laying in his bed, just chilling. It had been an hour or so after Richie's mom had barged in on us.
Then I yawned.
"Tired?" Richie asked.
"No, I just do that sometimes."
"What's got you so sarcastic?" Richie was smirking.
All of a sudden I felt insecure, vulnerable all over again, "just kind of hate myself for liking someone so annoying."
Richie scoffed, then he leaned in close to my lips. I could literally feel his hot breath on my lips.
I glanced quickly from his lips into his eyes, he was staring right into mine. I was waiting for him to close the distance, to kiss me like I wanted him to.
But he pulled away and turned around so he was laying on his other side.
"yeah, that must suck," he said coolly.
That dick.
"Really Richie?"
He didn't respond.
"Stop being a little bitch."
No answer.
I huffed and kicked him lightly.
Still nothing.
He was facing the wall, there was little room between him and it.
But I still crawled over Richie and squeezed myself into the space.
He was smirking.
"You suck," I said then kissed his lips quickly.
"You still like me though," he sang.
"Unfortunately," I groaned.
"Boys!" Mrs. Tozier called up, "Dinner is ready!"
"Yes!" Richie cheered and jumped off the bed.
I sat up slower, "I'm so cold now," I complained. I just wanted him to come back and lay next to me again though. Which I would never let him know.
Richie nodded and dug through one of his drawers.
I watched curiously.
Then something was being thrown at me.
"Here you go Eddie Spaghetti."
I scoffed at the nickname and picked up the material. It was one of his jackets. I tried no to smile as I put it on and stood next to him.
He placed an arm around my shoulder, "so you don't get cold Eds," then he ruffled my hair again.
-------
I felt bad for coming over unexpectedly and eating the Tozier's food. And on top of that making out with their son.
Mr. Tozier wasn't home, still working. He apparently hadn't pieced together me and Richie like Mrs. Tozier had.
And we were supposed to keep it that way.
"It's delicious, Mrs. Tozier," I grinned at her.
She rolled her eyes, "you can stop saying that Eddie, I know you appreciate the meal and I know my cooking is only half assed."
Richie snorted, "don't worry mom, you get used to him being a suck up after a while, " he glanced over at me, "I sure have," then he winked.
I turned bright red.
"So that explains the marks on your neck then Rich," Mrs. Tozier said.
Now Richie was blushing and I smirked.
I loved his mom.
We continued to laugh and tease and eat, and there was peace. I felt it. I truly felt the peace. I was happy.
Even though me and Richie weren't really defining our 'get togethers,' I knew it would all work out.
Or at least I thought so.
Because as soon as I let my guard down, I got completely blindsided.
Halfway through dinner, my mom burst through the front door and started screaming.

Oh dang.
Cuties.
I'm tired and I've learned to not write when I am like this unless I want to rewrite the chapters.
So you are gonna have to wait until tomorrow.
