3rd Person POV
Richard Tozier was fucking late.
He had gotten up a half hour after he was supposed to be meeting his producer.
Once he had realized this, he jumped out of bed and got dressed, swearing the whole time.
He had gotten drunk of his ass again the night before, trying to drown his miseries in the sweet bliss of alcohol.
But all it resulted in was him probably going to get fired.
He didn't even grab breakfast, just snatched his bag and ran out of his apartment. He even ran down three fucking flights of stairs and straight out of the door to his apartment building.
The crazy thing was, as he was running the three blocks between his apartment building and where he was meeting his producer, he wasn't thinking about Eddie. He wasn't thinking about the death of the only person he ever cared about.
The only thought in his mind was, 'Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckshitfuck!'
Richie had tunnel vision, not even caring about what was going on around him.
So I guess that was why a grown ass man who had lived in New York for a long chunk of time, got plowed over by a taxi cab.
From the impact, you could tell it was over. There was a sickening crack and then he flipped over the car and landed face down on the gravel.
The public panicked, an ambulance was called.
Blood was seeping in the streets. Mothers covered their children's eyes, someone was screaming.
The ambulance finally showed up and they lifted his body from the street and hauled him to the car.
"Pulse?" One paramedic asked.
The other shook his head.
Richie Tozier was gone.

Also I do have a plan, and I only stayed true to the book and movie where Eddie died because I have a plan. Cause in my head, having Eddie live and they live happily ever after just doesn't work. Or make sense.
For some reason it is reasonable and makes me happier for what I am planning to happen.
Yes, the next chapter will be an epilogue and longer than this one.
Also, it will be fucking happy. And that's a promise.
