*RIYANSH'S POINT OF VIEW*

(After two days, the Graduation Day)

I was all ready in my uniform for the graduation and currently standing at the front on the field.

"Attention graduates, Training teams are going to be announced . For those of you who graduate top two in the class"Officer announces and then glance at me and Jush proudly and says "You two remain behind because you have already being assigned to departments."

I smiled at those words. Since,me and Jush graduated top two of our year.I had the first place and it was an honour to get assigned directly to the department after graduation. It doesn't usually happens often though and happened only if your reputation was known with high classes. Me and Jush were the dangerous combo. Since, I was informed by one of the cadet that Officer Rao asked me to come to his office immediately.

I was currently waiting in his office and was engrossed in my thoughts when Officer Rao walks in and asks me to take seat. I do as I'm told to and sit on the chair infront of his desk.

Officers Rao turns to me and starts speaking " Riyansh, you are assigned for something very important. I am sure you are not going to like this."he winced a little and my heart starts to sink.

"Ok Sir, I'm all ears" I say with confidence. I was ready for any challenge that was going to come my way. I had number of records in different departments. No one has ever passed out with honor like me.

Officer Rao held an envelope towards me. Frowning , I took it and torn it in excitement and when I opened it,I found a police file inside for an Meera Singhania. I opened it curiously having no idea what it was about . On the first page was her photo. She was incredibly beautiful. According to the file she was 22 year old and a college student.

I glanced at Officer Rao and asked him "Who's she?"with confusion and why had he given me this girl's file.

"She is the daughter of an extremely important man . She's Meera Singhania, Daughter of Raghuveer Singhania"he said respectfully.

My interest suddenly increased . Raghuveer Singhania was a millionaire and a business tycoon and his wife was in politics; he was highly respected and was considered as a great man.

"Ok,so why do I have her file?"I asked still confused, flicking the pages and scanning the pages for information . She was currently expelled from WYC University. She had attended almost four colleges in past one year and got expelled from them due to violence and damage to property.

"When she was 18, she was kidnapped by James Smith. He killed her boyfriend and held her against her will for almost an year."Officer informed me and studied my face for few seconds and continued"The only reason they traced her was the police broke into his house one day for drugs and discovered her there."
He gave me the questioning look and asked "You know who James Smith is , Don't you?"

I nodded quickly. Everyone knows who James Smith was; he was a head of a gang and responsibile for death of thousands of people when he'd set bomb in rush hour in four different cities simultaneously. Everyone knew it was but it was never proven in the court. He was also a drug dealer on his daily basis. He was also involved in human trafficking.

"He is currently serving life sentence for murdering Miss Singhania's boyfriend, Ankush Sen. She was the witness when he killed her boyfriend and there was also evidence that showed that he was related to the murder. Eveyone knows who he is and what he does but he always slips through our fingers. The murder case of Ankush Sen is the only case that he's involved in and gotten as far as trial. Him being convicted was one of the best thing for our country."Officer said with hard expression on his face.

"Ok Sir,So What am I supposed to do with this now?" Still not understanding why I'm being provided with all this information.

"“Well, James Smith has an hearing coming up later this year. Apparently, some evidence may have been incorrectly collected or something. Miss Singhania was the only witness that made it to the trial the first time; there’s a good chance she may be called to give evidence again. There have been death threats made against her, most of them because of who her father is, but lately her family have been receiving threats which they believe are coming from James's organisation.”Officer Rao leans in his seat and tells me.

He stills in his chair and starts watching me,I still didn't understood how was this related to the special task force? This wasn't our business. What does this has to do with me?
