I stirred in my bed, blinking my tired eyes open. "Y-You're here!" I exclaimed as I drank in the beautiful sight before me.
She smiled contentedly at me. "Yes. It's been a while since we've been able to see each other."
I snuggled into her arms. "This is a dream again?"
"Yes."
I kissed her gently while her hands found my waist. I reached out to hold onto her, wanting this to feel real.
How can this be a dream? I can feel her warm skin beneath my fingers. I can hear her heartbeat when I lay my head on her chest.
"Goodbye, my love," she said. "See you in the dream world."
"I love you," I replied, blinking back tears.
I jolted awake in the... car? I looked around and saw a floating dog bouncing around between two skyscrapers.
The car was moving fast. Random objects stuck out to me. Like the people on the street holding wands. I peered at a giant dog calmly walking the sky like they owned it.
"We're here!" someone in the front seat said.
I blinked. It was a spinning ride like Dumbo or Aladdin's carpets but with brooms. I shrugged and hopped on a green one. Right before I buckled my seatbelt the ride started.
Oh f-
"Excuse me," a random guy said as he pushed his way past me.
I sighed. The Disneyland dream again. On the bright side, it's not as crowded as usual.
I walked around aimlessly. I've had this dream at least three times by now. I decided to go on Peter Pan. After waiting for an eternity I made it to the front of the line.
My alarm went off, abruptly pulling me out of my sleep.
AN: Last night was wild! Guess this is what happens when I don't get enough sleep. Thoughts?
