A baby's borrowed breath

hollowed by the home in its head

A cold wind weaved its way

down; dug deep in the mind

of those Thursday thunders

A first step, silent and sound

A mumbled 'mama' makes

peculiar people ponder

A quiet quiz of questions

roll round as they rest

Yellow flowers yield yesterday's sun

cornered on the course of life

found following forever

Trapped under the umbrella of upcoming

lessons. Laugh. Loud. Lost. Long. Love

After all afternoon

never needing to numb

everyone, everywhere, everything

Overtly, over the top

gorgeous gowns, glowing

in islands of iris

Jokes jeopardise joy

zigzagging exaggerated

voices vague in violence

that killed all kind combined
