Apart

Two lovers sat apart,
neither and both eager to start,
Their minds speak clear to them only,
Eyes wonder the hands that fall lonely,

A cold chill wonders around them,
A shivering silence surrounds them,
then as day turned to night,
breath meets creating a new light,

Cheeks as red as blusher,
as they beg to take a bullet for each other,
A sacred heart,
torn apart,

Brought together,
under a clear night's weather,
by loneliness and fear,
Love had found it's way to the one they hold dear.
