Wednesday, November 13, 2019 is the date of today in which we will see the ranking and the fruits of our labor. It is awarding day for our category, we'll leave by 1:00 pm and come back at 3:00 pm. 7:00 am is the time I woke up at, I then went downstairs and ate breakfast which was eggs and ham. I grabbed a coffee and made small talk with my schoolmates, after talking for awhile I went back up to wash my face and prepare my clothes for the awarding. I just wish that my region will win and prevail our name as a whole, I want to be someone who can be seen as an achiever not just the lazy and boring person I am right now. I took a bath at 10:00 am and went upstairs to sleep until it was time for lunch, the 12:30 pm meeting time was moved to 1:00 pm for whatever reason. After eating lunch, we brushed our teeth and awaited our dispatchment. It was time to go to the awardings and we've seen the results, we went inside the auditorium at which the awarding was held in. Upon opening the door, a large crowd of people in their seats are also waiting for the program to start. We were overwhelmed with the intensity of expectations and the tense vibe everyone has from anticipating their place, we sat down near the front and the awarding started soon after. We didn't make it but we learned from it, my heart was crushed but my spirit never wavered infront of this war of a competition. A summit so high that you can never reach the top but I wasn't afraid; I was excited for next year and to make a comeback from our crushing defeat. We left after our category was finished and came back to school, we all met up again and went out for a shopping spree at the night market as it was our last night today. We looked around and decided to just buy what we wanted, it will be the last time for my upperclassmen as our school doesn't support senior high. It will be a sad time for many but they passed on the torch to my generation of students, we will continue their legacy of triumph and total victory as we spread the name of our school.
It is also our teacher's last year of handling the school journalists and with this being my first year into the regionals, I will do my best to look out for the school's future. After coming back from the night market, we ate dinner and went straight into the room. It was the last night we would stay here so we all felt a bit sentimental and sad to leave. These past few days really made us grow out of our comfort zones and to try new things, we played with cards until it was curfew hours and we laughed the night away. We played like it was the end of the world and just had a fun and happy moment. 8:50 pm, this has been the end of Day 4.
