As soon as Frank heard the voice, his first instinct was to run. He ran straight to Leo, grabbed him and hid under the table that Leo was picking food off of.
"What the heck, dude?! I just got to the Kit Kats!" Leo told Frank. He was about to get out from the hiding spot when Frank pulled him back down.
"How did you not hear that?" Frank asked him.
"Hear what?"
The door jiggled and the two boys froze. Frank's eyes drifted to Hazel, who was right in front of the doorway, still frozen in shock.
"Hazel!" Frank whisper- shouted. "Hide!"
But Hazel stood still.
Frank was about to get up and get her when Leo pulled him back down. It was lucky that he did, because the next millisecond passed and the door opened. The woman in the doorway was not a teacher, but a chaperone of some sort. The woman saw Hazel and snarled. The look in her eye was evil as she grabbed Hazel by the arm and dragged her away to who knows where.

"Are we all clear?" Leo whispered to Frank, and Frank shoved him off. He kept asking him and it wasn't necessary- mostly because they were already out of the Teacher's Lounge.
"Are we going to spy on Hazel?" Leo asked like a child asking, "Are we there yet?"
"Yep." Frank answered, popping the "p."
"Why?"
"Because that woman dragged her away. Something isn't right." Frank answered, determined.
"Or it is because you are trying to be a creep because you are in loveeeeeeeeeeee," Leo told him.
"Shut up." Frank told Leo, blushing.
Sure, it was true. He liked Hazel. A lot. Yeah, a football play that likes the mysterious artist girl. Seems like a cliche high school romance movie, but Frank was head over heels. And Hazel.... Really, Frank wasn't trying to be rude, but Hazel got defensive and suspicious every time Frank tried to do anything nice.
Maybe if I try harder.... was what Frank tried to tell himself. I mean, do football stars quit before they make it to the NFL? No. So Frank kept trying to make a good impression, but Hazel kept pushing away. Truthfully, Frank felt like he should give up, but there was just something about Hazel he couldn't place.
I'll keep trying, Frank thought as he told Leo, "They took a left here, right?" They were in the hallway near the Art rooms and the English rooms.
"Man, we should just stop. I mean-" Leo started to say. They just took a left and saw Hazel and he woman in the hallway, Hazel looking anxious and the woman looking at Hazel with disgust.
"Hazel. What did I say about going to the Teacher's Lounge? You could have been hanging out with friends while you are still here. Or, that is, if you had any friends." The woman said to Hazel.
"I-" Hazel started, but the woman silenced her.
"Don't speak to me. You should be making friends and becoming popular. I mean, look at you! You are so ugly and lonely and-" The woman trailed on, and Hazel soon had tears brimming her eyes.
When Frank started to go forward to comfort her, Leo stopped him. " I Don't think you should get in the middle of that." Is what Leo said, and Frank took a step back. It hurt his heart to see Hazel like this, but he knew it was none of his business.
"Now, Hazel. I want you to try and make friends. And if you do... then, maybe you will be allowed to speak to me again." The woman said this, and then walked away, leaving Hazel with tears in the hallway.
Frank ran up to her and comforted her as she cried in her shoulder. Frank soon put the pieces together in his head as Hazel was sobbing and realized what he should say.
"Do you want to be my friend?"
THAT was cheesy! But, whatever because Frazel is cute doing whatever they do!
