"What do you think about the man who is by Yasu's side?" Shiro asked as he looked up at Ren.  It has been two weeks since Yasu left and this thought kept him up late at night.

"I've sent people to investigate him, however we weren't able to find anything since Lord Yasu has changed his name.  Without his birth name, we aren't able to move forward in our investigation. As for his character, the investigation stated that he is a careful person who works efficiently at his tasks.  He is loyal towards Yasu. He is also highly intelligent and resourceful." Ren informed Shiro.

"To know that there is someone reliable at  Yasu's side comforts my heart." Shiro confessed.  "It would be better if we could be by his side as well."

Ren leaned over and kissed Shiro's temple before snuggling closer to him.

"Although we aren't physically at his side, our hearts and thoughts are always with him.  Not only that, but our hidden guards are working hard to find evidence."

"I feel as if I've let him down."  Shiro confessed. "His family welcomed me into their home.  Took care of me. Taught me so much and in the end, when Doctor Jiro needed help the most, I ran away.  Yasu must hate me."

Shiro's survivor's guilt hung heavy inside his heart.  That fateful day replayed in his mind and haunted him for many years when he was a slave.  It was only when he reunited with Ren that Ren could chase the nightmares away. Now that Yasu came back into their lives, his thoughts kept bringing him back to that fateful day.

"He doesn't hate you."  Ren told him. "If he did, he wouldn't of shared our bed that night.  If he hated you, he would have shouted at you and blamed you, but he didn't.  He witnessed and experienced everything that you went through that day. He isn't so small minded to blame you for what happened."

Shiro pushed his lips out into a pout.  He wanted to believe Ren's words, but there was hesitation inside of his heart.  His guilt was too heavy to be wiped away as if it was so easily forgotten and forgiven.

"If Yasu was that small minded, we wouldn't have liked him and given our hearts to him."  Ren told Shiro.

"Do you remember the first day that you saw Yasu?"  Shiro asked as a smile broke through his dark thoughts.

"Of course I remember.  I also remembered thinking that you would be my love rival."  Ren confessed.

Shiro laughed and looked up at Ren.

"Really?"  Shrio asked.  "So I was your love rival, huh?"

"I was so jealous when I found out that you spent the morning alone with Yasu.  That was why I went to seek Yasu out after we went our separate ways after lunch.  I wanted more time with him so he could remember me."

Shiro pinched Ren's side, but there was no body fat to pinch, instead he hurt his fingers.

Ren quickly trapped Shiro's hand in his as he reminisced about the first time he met Yasu and Shiro.

"I had thought that I needed to make a strong impact on Yasu so he would remember me.  Being that I would be away for a long period of time and you would be constantly at his side.  My heart bled with jealousy knowing that you would get to see him every day and I would only see him once or twice a year."

"I did see him every day!"  Shiro bragged as he smiled wickedly at Ren.  "And we spoke every day, we ate lunch together everyday, we also..."

Shiro's words were quickly interrupted by Ren's kiss.  Not only was the kiss dominating, but it was forceful too.  The punishing kiss led Ren to bite Shiro's bottom lips, causing Shiro to groan out in pain and pleasure.  Although the bite didn't break Shiro's skin, it did leave a it swollen for a few days.

Ren quickly used his tongue to tease Shiro's lips and tongue.  He made a trail of kisses to and whispered huskily into Shiro's ear.

"Although I saw you as my rival at first, I'm happy to hold you in my arms and claim you as my man."  Ren whispered. "You came into my life and slowly burrowed your way into my heart. To us, Yasu is like the sun, forever bright, warm and beautiful.  But to me, you are like the moon. Forever encased in light, dazzling to the eyes, steady and calm. I cannot live without the both of you."

Shiro's eyes quickly became watery as he held back his tears.  Ren hardly spoke sweet words to him, but when he did, his sincere words hit Shiro's heart, which made him love Ren even more.

"Did anyone tell you that you talk too much."  Shiro joked as he held onto Ren tighter.

"I only talk a lot to those who I hold dear.  I don't waste my words on those who don't matter."

Shiro smiled and kissed Ren's shoulder.

"I'm lucky to have you in my life."  Shiro confessed. His dark thoughts were quickly swept away because of Ren.

"I'm the lucky one."  Ren told Shiro.

"We're both lucky."  Shiro compromised.

"Mhmmm.  We're both very lucky."
