“Young Master, here is the report on the person you wanted us to find out about.”  Kei said as he handed the rolled up report to Yasu.

Yasu reached across the desk and opened the scroll with a tug of the string that bound the scroll closed.  It had been three days since he had ordered his subordinates to check out the background of the man beside Lord Hiraga.

Reading the words written on the report, Yasu knew that the report was not an in depth report.  For an in depth report, it would take longer than three days. The first half of the scroll was a painting of the young man. The young man was painted in a scholarly light.  One hand was behind him, while the other hand held an open fan in front of his chest. His hair was half up and half down, blowing in the wind. A blue lake behind him and green grass underneath him brought a sense of tranquility.

Even with just the painting, Yasu knew that the young man, Kazuki, was a very beautiful and alluring man.  No wonder Lord Hiraga is entranced by him enough to keep him by his side.

Yasu folded the scroll in half and passed it on to Kei.  Once Kei read the report, he burnt the scroll in the brazer and stepped to the side of the room as if nothing happened.  Now that Yasu knew who the young man that Hiraga held dear, he can begin making moves to make Hiraga slowly bleed to death.

“Send a couple of kids to follow the poor lover who is kept in the dark.”  Yasu ordered Kei. “Insert a couple of kids into all of his estates and businesses as well.”

Kei knelt down on one knee and bowed his head to obey.  “As the Young Master commands.”

“Find an opportunity to create more of a misunderstanding between the two.  The bigger the opportunity, the bigger the wedge between them will be, and the better advantage we’ll have.”  Yasu said without remorse. “I also need information on the others that Lord Hiraga surrounds himself with. Everyone that he trusts.  Everyone that he meets. Even the servants in his estate. I need to know everything. Even what he ate, to when and how many times he moves his bowels in a day.  I want to know everything about him, I want to know him better than I know myself.”

Kei bowed his head once more, obeying Yasu’s orders.  Kei quickly left the room and began to relay Yasu’s orders to Ken and Gin.

“Why does Yasu want to know so much about ‘that man?’” Gin asked once he heard Kei tell him about Yasu’s orders.  A sense of worry mixed with jealousy began to breed within him. What was so special about Lord Hiraga that Yasu even wants to know his bowel movement.

“It is not our place to guess what the Young Master is thinking.”  Kei told Gin. “We only follow orders, pledge our loyalty and life to him.  The rest doesn’t matter.”

Gin grunted out in frustration before leaving the two personal guards alone in the room.  Gin’s bad mood followed him to his office where he began deploying the children that they have been training for the past couple of months.  Although their training was still early, their lives belonged to Yasu. They have taken a pill called Medicine of Oath. Anyone who breaks their oath, will be poisoned immediately.

After deploying Yasu’s orders, Gin sat back in his chair and sighed heavily.  He was worried about Yasu’s state of well being, but he was extremely jealous that Lord Hiraga occupied such a large place in Yasu’s thoughts. He could only hope that once Yasu had taken his revenge by annihilating his enemies and settling the hatred in his heart. Yasu would stop thinking of his hate inside of his heart and start anew with his loved ones. Gin was greedy to be the only one that Yasu thought about.  Until then, Gin could only hide his insecurities and help Yasu as much as he can.
