Your POV
Max led the group towards the junkyard. Can't we just leave this place alone?
As we reached the small hill that we his behind last time, Max quickly ducked. Everyone did the same except for me. I stood in shock as I saw who was standing next to two girls in the yard.
Javi.
I quickly ducked down after a few seconds. I looked over at Max who looked like he wanted to slap me right then and there, but he had to be quiet from being seen.
"Everyone, take your positions." Badger whispered. I crept towards the middle area of the hill and readied my gun. I wasn't going to shoot, but I had to pretend in order to not get in trouble.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I put my finger on the trigger, being careful not to accidentally pull it.
After a while, Badger looked over at me, keeping his gun pointed towards the yard. He took another look at junkyard.
"Get ready to shoot, Y/n, cause you're making it." He whispered. I looked at him in confusion. As I turned to look at the junkyard...
I saw Mariana. So it was them... It really was...
"What? Can't we just go?" I said, starting to regret agreeing to come with them on this so called 'mission'.
"What? You can't do it yourself?" He said. I shook my head in anger, clenching the gun tighter. I stared at Mariana.
I couldn't do it. Even if I didn't know them, I still wouldn't. I aimed above Mariana's head, so that the bullet wouldn't hit her. As I was pulling the trigger, I felt something slam into me. I quickly shot and heard yelling coming from the junkyard. I looked up to see Jessica lying on top of me, being mauled by a walker which was stealthy enough to not get noticed.
I gasped and kicked her off. I quickly got up and ran into the forest, looking back as I did.
Mari was on the ground, being dragged away by the woman Javi came with. She had blood trailing down from he forehead. My eyes widened as I dropped my gun in shock.
Another bullet shot through the air, hitting Kate in the stomach. I couldn't move.
I was frozen.
Bullets started to fire back, hitting some of the soldiers, and hitting the walker that attacked Jessica. Well, there went one of the only people I trusted.
I heard Badger laugh like a maniac, shooting shots that missed. I just wanted to shoot him right then and there for what he wanted to make me do to Mariana. But I couldn't.
I felt something fly into my arm, the same place where the logo was burned into my skin. I quickly clenched it and got down to the ground, gritting my teeth in pain. This wasn't the first time I got shot, but it still hurt like a bitch.
I suddenly felt something grab my shoulder and pull me back. I looked up and saw the rotting face of a walker, lunging at my neck. I quickly dodged it and kicked it in the face. It fell over on it's side, but kept reaching for my legs.
There was a sudden loud bang as I struggled. Smoke started to fill the air.
I couldn't see the walker anymore. I quickly got up and ran, still clenching my arm. As I ran through the smoke filled air, coughing, I bumped into something hard, like a metal barrel.
