We stepped in. I spotted Clinton in front of some food. He kept looking over them.

"Here they are." Joan said. Clinton looked up and smiled. I smiled back to seem nice. Javi and David had straight faces.

"Hey, umm.." Clinton glanced at me before turning to Joan. "We don't need Y/n here." He whispered. I frowned.

"Anyways!" Joan pointed to the food. I spotted a... Cake? I haven't seen one in years... "Javi, we decided to make some food. Which one do you think looks better?" She asked. I zoned out, staring at the cake. I haven't eaten in days...

"The cake looks... Amazing." He replied. Joan smiled, crossing her arms.

"Great." She glanced at Clinton before looking back at Javi. I snapped back to reality, jumping a bit. "Anyways..." She trailed off. I started thinking.

I didn't really care about Joan. She should've been kicked out a long time ago, but she's unkickable, appearently. Everything about her annoyed me. From her fake smiles, to her lies. Her lies were the worst.

A few minutes passed. It felt like hours, to be honest. I was about to excuse myself from this 'meeting' until David suddenly started yelling.

"YOU LIAR!" A bullet shot out of the gun, hitting Lonnie. I gasped along with Javi.

I fell to the ground as the soldiers shoved me out from Richmond's gate. The pain in my ankle came back, worse than before. Javi rushed over as I sat up, gripping onto my ankle.

"Here." He reaches out his hand. I grabbed it, hauling myself up.

"Thanks." I put on a smile. Jesus sighed.

"Javi, we're still with the plan, right?" He asked. Javi nodded.

"Yup. We're actually going to do this." He looked down at the ground. I furrowed my brows.

"But.. how? Richmond is a HUGE civilization, probably the biggest out there." I exclaimed. Tripp crossed his arms.

"It's gonna happen either way." He replied. Tripp pointed at me. "... And you're our tool." Javi shook his head in embarrassment.

"You're not a tool, you're just something that's gonna help us. You know where everything is, right?" Javi asked. I nodded.

"Lingard's building, all the building's and who's stationed in them, the armory-" Tripp cut me off.

"Armory?" He smirked. "This is gonna be good." I heard something being set down behind us. I quickly turned around to see what it was. A duffel bag.

"Since when did they start handing duffel bags out?" I muttered to myself. This probably was a 'im sorry!' starter kit. We get it, you made a mistake by kicking me out. Not sure how it's a mistake though.

Javi unzipped it. He took out a bat, smiling. I looked down at it. It was new.

"Damn. Hard to find bats out here.  You're lucky." I said. Javi nodded, handing it over to me.

"Mind strapping it onto my back?" He asked. I took a step back and put the bat on his back, making sure it was securely in place. "Thanks." He thanked as I stepped out from behind. I spotted a folded piece of paper tucked deeper into the bag. I quickly grabbed it.

"A map?" I said in confusion as I opened it. It lead to the garage. I sighed. "It leads to the garage." I put the map into my jacket pocket, furrowing my brows.

"Yeah, David said something about it having cars and stuff." Javi said. I sighed.

"Let's go."

Jesus left before we made it to the garage to get his group ready for Richmond. It was fine, it was an easy task. Besides, I usually checked up on the garage. I used to.

The sun started to set as we got closer, which wasn't a good sign. Walkers would soon start to come in. I've always wondered why more came out at night than day.

"Is that it?" Tripp asked, stopping. I peered behind some trees. It was the garage.

"That's it." I replied. "Don't make too much noise. Last time I checked, there were walkers scattered around everywhere." I whispered. Javi drew out his bat.

We crept closer, looking around for any walkers. I hated this place. Everytime I came here, I'd have to kill a walker. I never liked killing them. It sounds stupid, but they were people once. It's like killing someone. It's murder.

I suddenly stopped as I heard rustling from the bushes.

"What the hell was that?" Tripp asked. I shushed him before he could say anything else.

"Probably a walker. Or a squirrel." I replied quietly. "Please be a squirrel..." I muttered to myself. As I got closer to the bush, I realized how stupid I was. I had no weapon with me. I had nothing. The rustling stopped. I sighed in relief. "It's clear!" I shouted back before having a knife blade against my throat.

My eyes widened in panic, but I tried to remain calm. I put both of my hands up.

"Hey! Drop it!" Javi called out, readying his bat. The knife was suddenly put away, a sigh coming from the person behind me. I turned around.

"Clementine?" I said. Her face turned pale as she looked up at me.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry..." She replied. I sighed as she pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back.

"Clem, it's fine." I whispered back. "Just don't go holding knifes up to anyone's neck." I laughed. She pulled away slowly, putting her weapon away.

"What are you guys doing? There are walkers around that area?" She asked, looking at Javi and Tripp.

"We're going to the garage. David have us a map leading to it." Javi explained. Clementine frowned, scrunching up her nose.

"You're really going to trust that piece of-"

"Hey, it's our last resort." I cut her off. She got silent, closing her eyes and nodding.

"Okay." Clementine opened her eyes. "Let's go before the walkers start coming in."
