"God damnit, are we there yet?!" Tripp asked angrily. Clementine frowned.

"Can you shut up?" She replied. I sighed. I accidentally led us past the garage and now Tripps being an ass about it.

"Hey, everyone just calm down." Javi put his hands up to silence everybody.  "We have to be there by sun down, no matter how pissed off we are at each other." Tripp looked down.

"We get it. Let's just... Go." I said, slowly walking forward. Clementine and Tripp followed as Javi ran up beside me. I didn't say anything.

"It's not you're fault. The map was... Badly drawn." He exclaimed. I crossed my arms.

"You don't have to protect me. I know I messed up." I turned to face him. "It's cute and all, but I know how to care for myself." Javi looked taken aback.

"I'm not trying to. You just don't speak up." He replied. I was starting to get pissed off.  I didn't want to speak to anyone right now, especially Javi.

"Look, Tripp was right, I led us off by accident. Just live with it. We all make mistakes." I said. Javi sighed, stopping in his tracks.

"Oh, you're mad at me now, huh?" He asked angrily. Clementine came up to him.

"Javi, I need to tell you something." She dragged him away to give me some space. I did the same to David when he wouldn't leave Clem alone. He'd always complain about her. I hated it. I couldn't control it though, which sucked.

We finally made it to the garage. I smiled at it's presence. It's been... Hours. I stopped at the edge of the forest, looking around. Walkers everywhere. I waited for everyone to catch up before going further.

"Alright, be careful around here. One wrong move and you'll be dinner." I whispered. Everyone slowly took out their weapons. "Just follow my lead." Clementine came up next to me.

"Can I go first?" She asked. I furrowed my brows. Letting a kid lead a group through a group of walkers wasn't smart. Anything could happen.

"Fine. Just don't do anything stupid." I replied. She nodded, running out of the forest. My eyes grew wide as I watched more walkers flood in.

"Come on!" I motioned for Tripp and Javi to follow me, running as fast as I could towards the fence. I spotted the fence gate and quickly opened it. I held it open for Tripp and Javi as Clementine fought away the walkers. "Clem! Go!" I shouted. She looked over and ran in, nearly falling over.

A walker started to limp over, progressively getting faster as he got closer. I quickly got out my knife, shutting the gate to keep out any walkers. I slowly crept over to it and kicked it down, stepping on it's head as another one got close. I stabbed my knife into it's head.

"Y/n!" Javi shouted. I looked back as a walker grabbed my arm. I jerked my arm away as another one grabbed for my leg.

"Javi! Hold on!" I shouted back. A bullet shot through the air, hitting another walker. The grip from my leg let go. I was suddenly surrounded by them.

This was the end.

As I kicked down another walker, I looked at the small group again. Clementine watched in fear.

"Just... Go!" I said as I killed off another walker. There were more coming in. I had to go. A walker grabbed my hand and brought it up to it's mouth, opening up it's rotten jaw. I screamed as I quickly stabbed my knife through it's foggy eye. I could hear the garage door closing behind me. They made it.

I looked past the walkers, searching for any possible escape route. After a few seconds, I spotted one. It led straight to the way we came from. I sprinted through the horde, pushing any walker that wanted to take a bite out of me away.

I just had to run as far as I could from the garage, then come back.

The sun already set, which made it harder for me to see. I reached into my back pocket. I used to carry a small flashlight with me when I guarded the gate. I felt nothing. I left it back at Richmond.

I looked up at the sky. The moon wasn't even up that high yet. A thought clicked in my head. I remember seeing an old she's not far from here when I was out walking a long time ago. It probably held some empty boxes, but it'll keep the walkers away. I just didn't know exactly where it was.

I kept walking deeper into the forest, keeping an eye open while clenching onto my knife. Thoughts ran through my head. What if there was some group of people who killed everyone who came across their way? That would suck.

I stopped as I heard a twig snap. Probably a walker. I turned around to see what it was. I suddenly calmed down as I spotted a raccoon. I smiled at it, even though it didn't even know what I was.

I sighed. I might as well head back to Richmond.... Right?
