As I said in previous chapters, in my friend group we're like 6 people.

Bertha! One of them is Bertha.
So, Bertha started talking shit about another friend, who I will call...

Emma, my friend is Emma.
So, between classes Bertha would come near me and start talking shit about Emma. Obviously, Emma was my friend so I defended her. Eventually, I started getting sick of her talking badly about Emma and I started fake agreeing her so she would shut up.
Another friend, who I will call Gertrude, also hated Emma. By the beginning of the school year, Gertrude and Bertha became best friends and together, they talked badly about her.
Bertha also kinda talked shit about another friend, who I will call Mia, but not really. Like, she said the same two things about her over and over again.
The two of them ignored the rest of us, with the excuse "We want more friends".
So, then one day I told Emma and Mia "hey, they're talking shit about you"
And you know what they told me?
That they also talked shit about me
Well, Mia apparently told Bertha and the next day, Bertha and Gertrude came and talked to me.
They told me that I also talked shit about them, and when I confronted them about what they did, they told me the excuse "That was months ago" (Gertrude was the one who confronted me about the thing in chapter 22). They also said that I talked shit about Bertha.
So, then, they went to talk with Emma and they apologized to her and said that I was a false friend and I also talked shit about her.
Now neither Bertha nor Gertrude want to talk to me again.
Bertha is also sending me low-key phrases that hint that I hurt her so much and I made her cry.
