Don't Be Silly

Why do the weekends have to go slow quickly? Well I guess time does go by when you're having fun. I was pretty tired this morning as me and Brad were texting past midnight. I don't think either of us realised as we just got lost in conversation. I love him so much and I know I'm only 17 but I do picture myself with him in the future. Is that weird? Whatever I'm happy.

I got into Megen's car with a huge smile on my face. Quite the opposite to the expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" I asked, concerned.

"Nothing." She snapped. Woah, had i done something?

"Megen there's obviously something bothering you"

"I dunno Megs it just feels like you have completely forgotten about all your friends since you starting going out with Brad. Like you have no interest in what is going on in mine, Aliee's and Ash's lives because you are so wrapped up in your own" She spat.

I felt sick as the guilt ran through my body, she was right.

"Megen I don't know what to say, you are totally right, I haven't been paging attention to anything apart from Brad, I'm so sorry." I pleaded

"It's fine" She turned away.

I decided to tell her about what happened on Saturday night as I knew she couldn't resist talking about it.

"So me and Brad had sex on Saturday"

Her eyes widened.

"God dammit Megs while do u always have to say stuff like that. You know I have to forgive you now"

I giggled.

"Go on then, what happened?" She asked.

I then went on to explain every single detail about the other day, about how he kissed me, how he made me feel and I didn't leave one single piece of information out.

"Wow" She chuckled.

"I know right, but enough about me, how's Tristan?"

She grinned at the mention of his name, aw.

"He's so adorable Megs, he makes me feel so good about myself and I just want him to be my boyfriend"

"Has he not asked yet?" I asked, shocked

"No," She sighed. "Which kind of makes me think that I like him way more than he likes me"

"Don't be silly Megen, look at you! How could he not like you"

"You have to say that you're my bestfriend" She giggled

"And because it's the true. I could ask Brad whats going on with Tris?" I offered

"Would you? But just be subtle about it okay."

"Of course" I smiled.

I sat back in the seat, I'm so glad me and Megen are okay. I guess I owe Ash and Aliee an apology as well.

I decided after maths was my chance to ask Brad about Tristan.

"Hey you" I said.

"Hey you." He smiled.

"I was wondering, has Tristan said anything about Megen?"

He rolled his eyes "Jesus Christ he doesn't stopped talking about her, it's kind of annoying actually"

"That's adorable, how come he hasn't asked her to be his girlfriend then?"

"To be honest, he's a bag of nerves, he is scared she will say no"

"Well tell him she won't say no, definately." I winked as I walked away. I can't wait to tell Megen.
