You Have Me

- Tessa's POV -

I was walking around the hallway to get my stuff to go back home when I heard shouting from around the corner.

"So just stay out of it!" The voice sounded like Megs and before I knew it I heard her footsteps coming towards me.

"Hey Megs, are you alright?" I asked her, wow she looks ugly when she cries.

"Um, yeah I'll be okay, just I need to try and do what Mum wants." She said as she tried to hold back the tears.

"Oh honey, well just go home and have a nice bubble bath okay and try and forget about him" I tried to comfort her to make her think I was on her side.

She nodded and walked past me to make her way home. I then walked around the corner to find Brad leaning against the lockers with his head in his hands, poor little Bradley.

"Brad?" I spoke up, making his head turn.

"Oh, hello, wait your Tessa right? Not Megs?"

"Haha, yeah I'm Tessa" It was good to know he still didn't know the difference between us.

"Ah okay, I didn't think it would be Megs." He looked down to the ground.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Um well, not really, me and Megs had a little fight."

"Oh, do you wanna go to town and maybe talk about it?"

"Ummmm yeah sure" I'm so glad he said yes.

"Okay, let's go."

I had been walking around town with Brad for about an hour now just talking about his and Megs' fight. I could tell he was really upset and could use some comforting.

"Do you wanna go bowling? Maybe take your mind off it?" I offered.

"Yeah, okay sure sounds good" His face lit up.

"Okay, let's go I think it's this way" I grabbed his hand and leaded him over to the bowling alley. His hands were soft and quite cold but I liked the feeling of them in mine.

When we got there Brad insisted on paying, how gentlemanly. After putting on those ugly shoes we made our way to our assigned lane.

About 20 minutes passed and I was well and truly in the lead. Bowling obviously wasn't Brads strong suit but I could see he was having fun. Perhaps he should be with me rather than my stupid twin sister.

"I didn't know you were so good" Brad interrupts my thoughts.

"Well I guess Megs never mentioned it to you"

"Im not surprised considering she hardly speaks to me anymore" His head dropped.

"Hey, it's alright" I said as I tilted his head up to face me. "You have me". I began to move in closer as I took his vulnerability as a chance to make a move but before I knew it he pushed me away with his hand on my shoulder.

- Brads POV -

"You have me" Tessa said quite calmly as she looked deep into my eyes. Before I knew it she began to lean in. What was she doing? I have a girlfriend! And my girlfriend is her sister! I had to stop her so I pressed my hair against her shoulder and pushed her away from me.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I challenged her actions.

"Sorry, I don't know what came over me. You just looked so cute and I couldn't help myself" I could tell she felt guilty.

"Tessa you know I have a girlfriend why would you try this?"

"I said I'm sorry I don't know what I was doing!"

"I think I should go" I stepped back as I put on my jacket and made my way to the door ignoring Tessa calling after me.

I needed to see Megs and fix this.
