I've come home from school. I walk inside and see Karlie and Taylor sitting on the couch talking without seeing me so I try to sneak away to my room. I don't think they see me so I make it to my room and Taylor comes over to my room and picks me up and brings me over to the living room and sits me down. "Kim, we're just thinking that you should let Taylor do your appointment today," Karlie says. "Wait why," I ask nervously. "She was just asking for my opinion about removing one of your molars in the back since it's making the section crowded," Karlie says. "Karlie, please," I say. "Sorry Kim, we have to check it out," Karlie says dragging me to her office and not the basement. "Why aren't we going to the basement," I ask. "We first need to get some Xrays," Karlie says. I just don't want to do this. I was hoping to have a normal afternoon and not having to go to their office. We reach the office and they take me straight to the back. Karlie pulls me towards the chair as I stop at the sight of the room as I feel like I'm about to have an anxiety attack. I start breathing heavily but not too heavy that I'll make myself sick. My chest starts feeling a massive swell of pain. Not gonna lie I kinda feel like I'm going to faint. Karlie looks at me with a worried expression. "Kim, do you feel alright," Karlie asks. "I'm scared," I say. "Kimberly honey, it'll be fine, I won't hurt you," Taylor says. "Kim, just come over here honey," Taylor says as she gestures me to the chair. I nervously walked over to the chair and leaned back on the chair and Taylor moves my head up to her lap so that my head was resting on her lap. "Look, Kim, we just need to check what is going with the tooth in the back of your mouth, we'll just take some Xrays it'll be easy, not bad right," Taylor says. "I guess not that bad," I say nervously. "Good girl," Taylor says. She grabs a sensor thing and sticks in my mouth and both Karlie and Taylor leave the room and come back after they've finished taking my xrays. "Okay Kim, I'm just going to print them out and then grab a numbing shot and I'll be right back," Taylor says. I just sit there with Karlie twiddling my fingers as a nervous habit.
