August's POV

So here's something to know I've 2 of my dentist appointments because I'm hella afraid of the dentist and I'm 13. Sometimes when my mum says I have to go I just sneak out my house and don't come back until hours later. I sat there nervously waiting as Kimberly, her younger step-sister, Callie and her friends leave the office and me, my mum and Summer sit there waiting. The door opens and Karlie comes back with a smiling Kristine. Kristine sits next to our mum and Karlie looks at me with a sympathetic smile. I try to walk to the office door to leave but Summer grabs my hand and stops me. "Sorry sis, she won't hurt you," Summer says softly. "Summer, I'm not going," I say nervously. "Yes you are, now go let's get it done," Summer says sympathetically. "Summer let me go I'm not going," I say as I run out of the door and around the corner until I run into Karlie's friend, Selena. "Hey August, where are you going," Selena asks softly. "No time to talk, gotta run," I say out of breath. "Are you sure, to me, it seems like you're out of breath," Selena says sympathetically. "What's going on hun," Selena asks softly. "I've skipped two appointments and I'm not getting another one," I say as try to leave. Karlie comes and Selena grabs my wrist and drags me back to an exam room.
